1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

    1. i think that would be a bit too big for me

    2. I initially said "No" but.. someone mentioned Shinku. I think a Rozen Maiden type of thing going on would be cute. Maybe vinyl instead, though :U

    3. No. Never. That's about where the line is crossed for me.

    4. lol I saw a doll in Rite Aid the other day that was like 3 1/2 feet tall and cost $20. XD They end up with the wierdest toys...

heh heh. I'm almost thinking now that I wouldn't mind a 90cm BJD... Sabik hadn't been out yet at the time this thread was first started. People seem to manage him well enough.

    5. I think that would be verging on creepy for me xD Which I thought I'd never say about BJDs. But it's just too big. I wouldn't know where to keep it or the clothing and carrying it around would be a nightmare.

I can almost imagine it being mistaken for a child... xD

    6. no way would I buy a doll that big. It's one thing to have mini adults or kids in the sizes we already have, but a 1/2 size doll would just be creepy.

    7. I have a 1/2 size doll. My Sabik is exactly half my height. :) So, in answer, yes. Taller than that though, probably not. It would be way to much of a hassle to carry around.

    8. I wouldnt exceed around 63 cm. If they wont fit in the sd 13 boys or girls then thats to big for me ^^.

    9. I would buy one, just for the fact I can use him for modeling and such. XD And to creep out the kids in the area around my house.

    10. I'm dubious of the 60 cm dolls, so an 1/2 scale would be totally out for me. *_*

    11. Really, I think 1/3 is my limit. Beyond that, it's too bulky.

    12. Being 4'10", that doll would be more than 1/2 my size. It might amuse me for a few weeks, but I'm sure that it standing in the corner of my room would quite soon freak me out.
This makes me think of those my size barbies. Those scared the bejeezus out of me.

    13. I used to want a my size barbie. I am super glad I never got one. You're right, they're totally creepy. :shudder

A 1/2 would most definitely be like that... only a lot skinnier. I wonder if that would make it more creepy or less creepy. o.0

    14. I would put him in my window and looking outside... :)
And point at things/ people

I wouldn't have any problem at all with a 1/2 scale doll, I have decided to get a 80 cm doll sometime, so I could easily get a doll that are round 120 cm tall or taller ^^ That would be so cool ^^

I'm only 160 cm tall my self and like to have big thing around me, I only want big dogs for example (over 70 cm). So a really big BJD would just be perfect for me :D

And I love to scare/ creep other out

    15. No. Even a 60cm doll is too big for me.

    16. You know I never would have replied or looked at this thread before but last night I saw Donn's Bishonen House boys, and OH MY! Amazing works of art. I never thought I could be wanting such a big resin man but now I realize how amazing they can be. Besides the fact that Donn is an incredible sculptor. Yeah, I'd buy one if it were beautiful.

    17. I have just found Bishonen House my self and they are truly wonderful! But of course the biggie doll have to be beautiful for me to bye one :D

    18. No, I wouldn't. For practical reasons -- it'll take up too much space and be inconvenient to carry around. Otherwise, it would be pretty cool. 8D

    19. I'd get one in a heartbeat!!! But if he.she looks odd to me then no dice.

    20. I don't think 1/2 size is for me. I think it would be way too heavy and I'd be afraid of it falling and chipping... I never did like those my-size barbies. I'm looking forward to my 60 cm doll (on layaway), but I think that's my limit.
