1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. 1. I would totally buy a 120cm doll or bigger. I saw the 120cm dolls that Gentaro made. o.o

      But I'm assuming it would be at least $5000+, plus it would be super heavy. I'd rather buy a Realdoll. :o

    2. I think the larger dolls may be able to more exquisite, but they must be much more heavy...
      I like going out with my dolls, and it's will make me very very tired if I took a huge doll.

    3. I think it would be way too weird for me. I saw a documentary on tv about life sized dolls....used for nasty things. I think any doll bigger than 60cm would remind me of it.

    4. *Cough* Sabik is actually 1/2 of my size.. XD little bigger even. But I think that's a bit too big. :) Though I own 2 dolls that are 70cm tall. So theyre not falling that far from it :D But I'd love doll 1/1 size though.. XD mm.. 180cm tall bjd... My bf woudn't love the idea though. :)

    5. I think it would be creepy to have something that big staring at me when I woke up in the middle of the night. Even if I put him or her facing the corner or something, that would creep me out. *shudders*

    6. No, I wouldn't buy one. I love the 1/3 sized dolls, it's just perfect, big but not too big, you know. I don't care much for 70 cm dolls, so why would any bigger be different?

    7. I would for sure get one! :) Well... once I saved up the money for it ^^;;;

      I like dolls of all sizes! I think even getting a full size doll would be kinda cool... kinda freaky in a way... but kinda cool! XD

    8. I think that'd be kinda creepy (more like wicked creepy, actually x.x), so probably not. Even though I love dolls and one of those could probably make an awesome halfling xD , I'm terrified of animatronics and such...and to me, a doll of that size would be more like that rather than a BJD anymore. x.x Plus all of the other complications...too large to carry, crazily expensive, and so on. The poor thing would probably just end up collecting dust in the corner of my room. =/

    9. A) It'd be too expensive
      B) I think the my-size Barbies are a bit creepy, so my-size BJD are out of the question.
      C) It'd probably weigh faaaar too much to drag it to any meetups.
      So no, I wouldn't.

    10. 65cm is already too big for me... And since I'm quite short, I think 1/2 to you would be 3/5 of me ¦D;
      I have dolls of all sizes but my tallest one is 64cm and already I'm a little wary of this sizing...

    11. Probably not.

      I think 60 cm dolls are perfect, and that 70 cm dolls are impressive in their height. But once you begin to get any taller than that the doll starts to become a miniature person, rather than a large doll, and I am personally turned off by the idea.

      I think it is... Creepy.

      Something one half scale or larger belongs in a gallery, and isn't in the same genre as a one third scale of smaller doll. Once you go over the 70cm mark, you lose some of the traits that still make larger dolls so great. Anything that big would be hard to get around. The price may not be worth all the risk involved with ownership, as I assume they'd be harder to maintain and store softly. And like others have mentioned, dressing it would become costly since childrens clothes likely wouldn't do the job.

      I don't feel drawn towards owning anything larger than 70cm. Though, I'd like to see larger dolls in an art gallery.

    12. I'd like a doll that can't kill me, thank you.

    13. I am about 4'10 so... in honesty hounds are close to being 1/2 my height I believe. Also a friend is getting a Sabik (spelling?) and I know thats nearly 3 feet so... in a few months we'll see how I like a doll being over half my height ^^;; Once I see her that is.

    14. hmm i probably wouldnt but i wouldnt mind looking

    15. though that even 40 cm dolls are quite big, so i would never think about buying somethin bigger than it o;

    16. If i could afford it i would totally get one if it begged to come home!
      i think it would be wonderful to have such a large member of the family...
      creepyfyn' i can handle, i could cuddle it sooo much! lol

    17. Had I the money, I'd be quite torn over whether I should get a Hound or Sabik; however I'm pretty sure I'm not going to be into 1/2 size dollies if they ever showed up on the market one day. I mean, that's a little too big in my opinion! I might buy a doll that size or, more realistically, express an interest in a doll that size, but it would remain, overall, too big for me! *_*

      Honestly, Sabik feels a little too big for me! Big dollies aren't for everyone and they probably aren't for me, either. Being that I'm 5'2", or approximately 158.2 cm. tall... Aaagh! Wouldn't that mean Sabik is already about 1/2 size for me?!

      But really, it's all up to the consumer. I love dolls, but I feel that it would be hard for me to make the jump beyond the MSD range. :/

    18. I want to be able to cuddle my doll and take him places... a 1/2 doll would be just way too big to do anything with and would probably creep me out at night. And it would probably be upwards of $2000.

    19. Everyone is listing price as a factor. If they cost like $800 though, which is really a normal bjd price for many 1/3rds, I doubt their opinion would change. Regardless, I think many people are assuming the dolls would instantly ditch the ABJD aesthetic, for whatever reason. Just because they are the size of small children doesnt mean they must look like one.

    20. Well, you've got to admit... if you carried around something that big you wouldn't have to diet anymore!
