1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

    1. I'm with the people who'd probably get creeped out. Besides, the larger they are, the harder they are to take care of (and spend on, might I add). If I were to have one, all the fun would be gone because it'd feel just like playing with one of those baby dolls you used to have when you were a kid... So yeah, I'd stick to the dolls we already have now. :)

    2. I really want one of the 90cm dolls AOD has, it would creep my girlfriend out sooooo much. xD

    3. I had an AOD 1/2 Ni shoved on me "here hold him" and being 5 foot 3 inches (160 cm) which is less than half it's height made me feel kinda uncomfortable. I dunno how i'd feel if i was taller. For the most part so far anything over 63cm seems to just be too big for me. I have a porcelain doll given to me by a family member ( i hate baby dolls personally fyi) that looks like a 5 year old and it's always creeped me out. Just went to measure her and she's 75cm. And I just went :O really? So she's even smaller than a 90 cm. Now I KNOW i could never do 90cm :).

    4. Having a doll that big would almost be ridiculous. At the moment I am thinking about getting a 70cm doll and I am almost afraid that would be to big. After all the doll would come up to my hip; I'm pretty short lol. So having a 90cm doll would be kinda of weird and I would probably feel uncomfortable with that little of a height difference between us.

    5. I have two Mecha Angels and, as much as I adore them, they are a handful in terms of size, weight and space they take. Bigger would be even worse, especially if it's child-like doll, that would be plain creepy.

    6. I'd like it if:
      A) It wasn't a giant child-doll
      B) They kept with the same realism we see in the BJD community now (not OVER realistic). I wanna know it's a doll, not a person.
      C) I could see one first.

    7. I have a 90cm AoD Bo that I modded into Vampire Hunter D. He is quite a handful and I'm having trouble finding the proper clothing for him, but I still love him. He mostly just sits around looking pretty; I don't really "play" with him like I do with my smaller dolls.

    8. Hmm well it would be true scale to a Rozen Maiden eh?

    9. As much as I would love to, I doubt it. Wouldn't be able to afford it and certainly wouldn't have the storage space. Plus, 90cm is more than half my height :/ creepy.

    10. Probably not... I dont think I could handle a doll that big.

    11. I'd love bigger dolls, but only if they were made to look like adults.

    12. That'd be one giant leap into the uncanny valley for me. I don't mind larger dolls, but 70cm is my limit. Anything bigger than that seems kind of overwhelming and intimidating... and I'm 5'9". oAo;

    13. I would think a theoretical 1/2 would be sold kit only, where you have to string it yourself. Then at least the parts could fit in a smaller box w/ less chance of breaking since parts can be individually padded. Also, the resin would probably have to be on the lighter side also.

I would prefer that one not look like a kid though. DM Dahlia strays too close to the valley for me.

    14. Don't they have those.??? And there called Real dolls for well You can easily guess what for. JUST PLAIN CREEPY :(

    15. As long as they're not child-like but look like adults, then yes, I'd love to get one. Dolls that look like children freak me out, I could never ever collect the typical porcelain dolls or anything the like.
But I definitely want a Mecha Angel one day and if there'd be sculpts out there I'd like more (not a particular fan of AOD ..), I'd go bigger, that's for sure.

    16. Gahhh, no, not for me~

I'm still not sure an SD wouldn't be too big for me (I'm very worried about playability and where I could put them - I'm not sure an SD would sit on my desk as well as my MSDs..). Anything bigger is just.. eek. xD

Anyway, my aunt would kill me. We live in a one-bedroom NYC apartment. We're having enough trouble finding room for my MSDs! XD

    17. 70cm seems too big to me, so I can't even imagine having a 1/2 scale doll. @__@

    18. I would kind of like an AOD 90cm. I have seen one in person and I loved him. I'm used to wrangling children, at least dolls don't fight back, and no matter how tall they really aren't as heavy as a baby. The only thing that holds me back is they are not proportional to the rest of my dolls. So I would either have to buy several for them to interact amongst themselves or just have one character with no friends.

    19. yes i'd love to have a doll thats 90cm :D but only one. because its not very easy to bring to meets :sweat

    20. Oh goodness no. My dolls are only MSD sized or smaller. I already thing SD dolls are a bit too big! LOL
