1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

    1. Naw.
I would look at pictures and freak out at how nice pretty they would probably be, but that's it. I'm pretty short, so it would be pretty large....and...it would just be too dang hard for me to carry ( I can barely manage an E.I.D superhero body :o ). Plus, that's when people start to think I'm really odd.....

    2. If I liked one of the 90cm boys, I'd have one xD <3 I love my Sabik. I love big, big boys.

    3. I plan to get AoD's Bo for my 21st birthday =D He'll come up to just under my chest (I'm 147.5cm) As for carrying around, if I ever want to take him out it'll probably be in a stroller.

    4. Only if I really adored the body and head sculpt ;D For me it's not really a matter of size, because if I like a doll's sculpt, I will usually aim on getting it. Of course, I've never held anything more than 60cm, so this opinion could easily change if I ever actually saw one of these huge guys.

Sewing would be easier because he'd be bigger and I could get in details, and use more fabrics because more of them will be in-scale. I have no idea where I'd keep him though!

    5. I'd be scared of it. xD and I'm pretty sure my dog would be too. ouo; I like SD's the most anyway, they are the perfect size for me. :)

    6. On the first thought, I thought it'll be cool to have a 1/2 doll but it'll be a hassle to keep them or bring them around so I think is better for me to not to get it at all. :sweat

Then again, like some users implied, I personally doesn't mind a BJD which has exact same scale with Rozen Maiden doll (Suigintou :D:D).

    7. I wouldn't since I already think my MSDs are getting too big.. All the space a 1/2 would take, and the weight! No. I'd really like to see one in real life though. ;) I love handling and looking at an E.I.D. Superhero as long as I don't have to carry one home.

    8. Nah, I wouldn't want to own a doll that big. That's... just way too big for my taste.

    9. No way. My dude is a 70cm, and that's already pretty huge - it's hard to find clothes, and he doesn't even have shoes yet! Forget 1/2! Kids clothes might work, but kids are a million times stockier than a slender, adult-proportioned doll. Not to mention the weight!

    10. I think 70cm is big enough for me! After all, I'm not very tall so 1/2 scale would probably 3/4 my height! It would be very heavy and difficult to transport but if one is ever made I'd love to see it IRL.

    11. Honestly, I've never seen a BJD bigger than 60 cm, but I fall more in love with aesthetics than size. x3 Eventually, I'd like to get myself a Hound, and there are a few of Soom's big dolls that I just love, but... Not QUITE enough to buy, as of yet. ;3

Typically, I fall madly in love with a BJD and decide to buy it before I look at the price OR size, so... XD <3 Heck, my next to BJDs in the waiting are a littlefee and a Dollshe Hound, which should say a bit about my size priorities. XD As of right now, I have an 11cm tiny and a 60 cm SD ;3

    12. I would get one of these in a split second! The only thing that would worry me was that I live in the tax hellhole that is the UK so the customs charges would be high enough to send the barstools on a week long jaunt to the Bahamas.

    13. I think 70cm is my limit...@_@ I can't even IMAGINE moving a 1/2 scale doll around! I got to hold a couple of 70cm dolls at a doll gathering recently and those are heavy enough as it is...

Come to think of it, though, a local doll museum here has a really large BJD on display...even though he's sitting, I think he must be somewhere around 1/2 height.

    14. That is something I am not chasing really, but I must say yes because if, for example, my 268cm skeleton character (Most of my BJD and so on are One Piece manga and anime series characters) went back to have flesh and skin besides bones (That has to do with the story of this title) I should get one. The fact is I would take it as if it was a 1/3 BJD scale (Even being 90cm, like I do with everyone whatever that is the height) and for now the only 1/2 BJD I have seen are the ones at Angel of Dream.

    15. Hellz to the no! That would be the equivalent of a young child, and I do NOT need anything that uncanny-valley anywhere near me. I don't even like LIVING kids. A kid-sized resinite would be too much for me to handle, I would definitely shy away if I ever saw one. Might be impressed with the workmanship, but I would definitely not want to hang around it.

    16. If it were a mature sculpt that I liked, then yes. But I'm not a huge fan of young/kid-like sculpts. I really don't want a resin "child" - especially not one that big.

    17. To me, the height is acceptable.. but the appearance is more important>.<
      60-70 is my best choice<3

    18. 1/2 dolls would be much too big I think. From what I've seen, I really like 70cm dolls though they too are pretty large...perhaps I'll stick with just 1/4 dolls; much easier and lighter!

    19. I really don't think I'll be getting a 90cm doll anytime soon. I already have a Mecha Angel/DIM Minimee hybrid and he's plenty big enough...a little too big maybe, but the character's a huge guy. 60cm is the ideal size to me.

    20. I won't rule 90 cm dolls out but esthetics are so important in my choice. Only one company is offering them at this time and I honestly don't find their sculpts to be personally appealing, even though I own 2 of their 1/4 dolls. I have hopes their artists' sophistication will continue to increase and then I'll take another look.
