1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

    1. I don't think I'd ever go into buying one--taking height and money into consideration. It'd kill me if I liked the sculpt a lot though. The farthest I'd go is probably a 70 cm but that's already pushing my "limit" a little bit. But.. I would love to see one! Especially if the sculpt is really beautiful. C :

    2. I wouldn't mind seeing one, or playing with one, but my 68cm 6-pounder Soom is the biggest I'm going to have, and probably to be the only SD+ I'll have. I like going out for pictures, and he's already trouble when I bring him out because after a few hours, I'm getting a bit tired (even with his bag, or having him on my shoulders). Other dolls I have thoughts for are MSD or smaller.

    3. Im with you :P

    4. No freakin' way, what would I even do with it. Sounds heavy and expensive, and then there's the whole new wardrobe and wigs and shoes and bleh. No thanks!

    5. No way... that'd be too much resin for me to handle. xD Not to mention the price tag on something like that. There could be some cool aspects to it, but I'm very happy with my 'not-too-big-not-too-small' MSD sized dolly. I could see myself getting an SD sized doll sometime, but I think that's as big as I'll get.

    6. 70cm was bad enough so thanks but no thanks. I don't see why dolls need to get overly large, I think smaller ones hold details well, they store well and travel well. If I want something half my size, I'd splurge and get a large breed dog to hang with my chihuahua, or borrow a friends kid to play dress up and take out to the park to play/photoshoot :P

    7. I think that would start freaking me out. It's like seeing a small child at the end of your bed every night. I'm fine with my 1/4 ^.^

    8. lol I have an 80 cm which I brought to a meet today. He got a lot of attention being as large as he is. I like carrying him around and have a little shock factor. I kind of like the larger dolls, but then again I don't think I could carry him around and I like showing my dolls off to much

    9. Too heavy, and what would they cost?

    10. Isn't that like a child mannequin? No thank you......er not in abjd form

    11. I don't know if anyone has brought this up already, but Angel of Dream sells them for $580 each. I wouldn't get one--too big! Also, I don't really like the sculpts of their heads...
      Just wanted to mention it...

    12. I've got a 70 cm doll right now, but have had 60 cm, 65 cm and 31 cm. In my experiences with him, I've found that the biggest size I'll probably go is 80 cm, merely because the larger guys would just be too big to pack up and carry around. I am NOT piggybacking a doll around with me, XD.

    13. I would but it would have to depends if I really love the doll sculpt, and its cost.

    14. Probably no, cause I barely have space for my MSD dolls! But I'd think about it if it is very very very very very pretty and is in my price range XD

    15. I like the Dollmore lusion doll, I'm not sure I would buy one though. I think it would be too heavy to do much a lot of playing with her but she is beautiful. I think Dollmore raised her price around 200.00 since she came out.

There's the space issue also lol.

    16. Same. Except I have no experience with 60cm, 65cm, or 31cm dolls.

I like big dolls, but I seriously only plan on going up to 80cm. My 70cm boy is a handful, I couldn't imagine trying to carry a 90cm+ doll. I wasn't scared off by how big and intimidating people think 60cm-70cm dolls are, but a one-half doll would seriously scare me. I imagine myself walking in to the room that I have him/her and jumping out of my pants. So scary...

    17. Oh my, that's a handful! I don't think I want a doll that big of a size! XD

    18. I wouldn't buy them, I don't feel like going out of my house to let a very big doll enter... Also, a doll so big reminds me of other kind of dolls with other connotations that don't interest me in any way.

    19. No, I wouldn't. EID is as big as I can handle and they border on too big.

    20. A 1/2 scale doll would undoubtedly be out of my price range and the box and doll would probably take up too much space. I have seen full size mannequins that look pretty cool, though.
