1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

    1. If the price was still affordable and I lived in somewhere bigger than my tiny apartment I'd buy full-size dolls if I could! XD It would be cool because I could just buy them clothes and human sized wigs.

    2. way to big in my opinion, not only would they be terribly heavy but also a pain to carry around. Not to mention how creepy it would be to have a doll the size of a small child. There just not my thing, but I get how other people could be into them.

    3. Hmmm... I've actually seriously considered buying one of the 1/2 Angel of Dream boys, but I keep getting deterred from the fact that I wouldn't be able to find clothes and shoes and wigs and eyes that would fit as easily as a more common-sized doll.
      :/
So, I guess I might, if they get more popular.

    4. Wow, what a great mom! What awesome thing did you do to deserve that?

I'm very enchanted by big dolls, but if I ever owned a huge one, I don't think I'd know what to do with it! 1/2 scale is like...stupid big. I would love love love to make clothes for a doll that size, but, yeah, otherwise something that big is intimidating.

Then there's the cost of dolls that size. I adore the Dollmore Lusion, but, god, even if I saved up very slowly over a long time, I don't think I could justify spending over 1000$ on a doll :/

    5. Random thought regarding 1/1 scale dolls:
"Hey! I could just ask to take a cast of my friend's body! No, wait, they don't allow recasting on DoA v.v"
      ;)

    6. I'm saving up for one of Soom's Mecha Angels, which are 80cm, but I'm not sure I could go any bigger than that XD I think they would start to be a little weird for even me at that point. X3

    7. You know, reading this thread has kind of re-ignited the love I felt when I saw my first Mecha Angel. I might start saving for one, but, oof, not for a few months at least. My wallet was recently Soomed, and can't take it again! :o

    8. No way @__@
I'd be skeptical and picky about getting even a 1/3... Let alone 1/2 or bigger! I am an "A-lot-of-MSDs-and-a-few-tinies" person. It's just my preference... I don't like the big sized ones and wouldn't likely get one for myself (although I can certainly appreciate others' dolls) and the smaller ones have cuter molds and are of general better aesthetic, in my personal opinion.
      I also never use price as a deciding factor... I see a lot of people saying "no they're too expensive" but for myself, if I find a doll that I truly love, I'll try my hardest to find a way to get it, no matter what. I don't have the budget for much more than MSD and under, either, but if I wanted it bad enough I'd save every penny for a year if I had to @__@;

    9. Only if he looked like Bono or Mick Jagger! Lmao then I'd so buy one. :0 cause Mick and Bono straight out rocks

    10. I only have MSD sized dolls at the moment... When I went to meet up, that was the first time that I'd seen an SD sized doll, and I remember thinking that even that was huge. So I don't think I would ever think about 1/2 sized dolls.

    11. I would actually love to have a 90cm doll :D I love how you can make their clothing ever more detailed the bigger they get. I don't think the size to be all too overwhelming as I've already got 3 boys who're little over 70cm tall. One day I will have a doll little over half the size of me that's for sure :aheartbea

    12. Noooooo, neverrrrrrr! My 60cm boys are already soooo huge ;-; and so expensive for my sad little budget. I hate to even consider how much a 1/2 doll could possibly cost..

    13. I just received my 70cm boy and already think he's huuuuge. I don't think I would like any larger/heavier doll. He will be a pain to carry around at meetups so he's the maximum xD
I would like to see some irl some day, but wouldn't buy one myself :)

    14. If they are reasonably priced and w/ in my wallet's reach I would definitely buy one. Though I think he/she would a have a hard time squishing in w/ the rest of the class. ^^:

    15. I have a Soom Super Gem and he's as tall as I want to get, thanks. I think after a while a very large doll or teddy just becomes clutter, something that is occupying (too much) space in the house and would really start to get on my nerves, however beautiful. My dolls can alway be put away in the cabinet when I want to tidy up, but a half scale doll would be a nightmare.

    16. I voted yes!......I am not affraid of any sized doll....I love them all....:fangirl:
I have a Realpuki Soso size up to Dollmore Lusion who is 80cm (I have a Japanese Artist ABJD that is 85cm tall too)!!! I enjoy them equally.....I have just as much fun playing and dressing my big dolls as I do with my small ones.......But, it's a personal preference I think!;)

      xen :)

    17. I would be okay with the size, but if I couldn't carry it....well then I wouldn't think it's worth it. >.>

    18. I just think that's too big for me.

    19. I prefer smaller dolls as it is, so although it might be easier to get clothes I like for him/her, it's still not quite my style.

    20. I definely would. I still havent bought my first bjd but I'm on a quest to find not even a 1/2 but a full 1/1 scale doll. When I get the money, Im going to go psycho ^^ Well first gotta move out of my parent's house (Im still 15).
