1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

    1. Possibly. I do find many of the larger dolls beautiful and actually do not mind the size. My issue is that so few companies (comparatively speaking) offer the larger sculpts that there is a limit to the choices and could not be used for everyone in my doll family. I personally would like to have my dolls all about the same size and so would see one or two bigger dolls as out of place. Maybe if there were more options out there I would go for the bigger guys and gals.

    2. No, that's way to big for me :O!

    3. I would LOVE to buy a 1/2 scale doll! :D I love large figures, and dolls are no different! My first BJD is going to be a 71cm boy. :) I knew from the start I wanted the big boys and didn't really have much interest in MSDs. I've seen some 90cm dolls being sold online but the ones I found were all mediocre. I wouldn't buy the doll just because of its size, but if it also had a face I really liked and nothing about the body bothered me, I would definitely get one. An amazing 90cm male with fantasy parts :aheartbea want so bad! I hope I get the chance to see a 1/2 doll in person sometime.

      I'd never buy a 1:1 scaled BJD though, that's too much even for me. :sweat

    4. Nope, 65cm is plenty big enough for me! I wouldn't have the space!

    5. Considering that I'm 5 feet tall... ^_^;; Getting a doll that's about 3 feet tall would be kinda crazy. D:

    6. No way, that is wayyyyy too big for me XD my 58cm girl is big enough for me; I even think of 70cm dolls as being too big for my tastes ^_^;;
      If I saw someone with a 1/2 scale doll or bigger, then I probly would get a little creeped out....kinda like those ventriloquist dummies, they look creepy to me >_<

    7. I think I'd have to see one in person before I could decide. Sounds really cool though. :)

    8. Yes! That is, if I won the lottery and would be able to afford one. :sweat If I even get into sculpting and customizing my own dolls, though, I would at least consider making a half scale/full scale doll, just because it would be awesome.

    9. After finally seeing one in person I was so glad I did not buy one last summer when I had the chance. He'd be pretty cool just standing around the house but that's about all he could do. I prefer to have more fun with my dolls than that.

    10. No. way too big. Because it might be half the size of the average man, I'm probably half the size of the average man too. xDDDDD

      Too scary for me.

    11. Never... too much trouble and spookiness and too little fun, that's what I think.

    12. It actually sounds REALLY cool to me, I'd imaging it'd be expensive but I'd love to see that!

      I saw that papermoon 1:1 chi doll, but I don't think it's exactly ball jointed, from the photos it looked more hinged?

    13. Probably not - she'd be waaay too big to handle and she'd take up too much space. I'd have to buy a personal sofa or an armchair for her ^_^;

    14. I'd only really be interested if it was sculpted to be an adult female, I would be far too creeped out if it was a child-like doll, too close to realistic for me (those lusion dolls scare the crap outta me). I've seen the 90cm AOD boys, and boy was he heavy, but I'm not really interested in bigger boys right now, not anything bigger than msd sized for me.

      I'd likely treat it more like a half-sized mannequin to be honest.

    15. where can i see that? it sounds really cool!

      id love to get a 1/2! especially the dahlia series.. theyre so pretty. they are just soo expensive

    16. I don't think I would ever consider buying a 1/2 doll. However, I am debating sculpting at least one fully life-sized BJD for myself at some point. :p

    17. I have only ever seen one before...and i loved it! i want one so bad!

    18. Oh heck no... My 67cm is big enough. :)

    19. noo! ) Dolls larger than 70 cm are not attractive for me, they are heavy. And I've got some medical restrictions
