1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

    1. Haha. Anything over 45 CM is too big for me. I can't even imagine how much a 90 CM doll would weigh, much less where I'd be able to keep it!! And that's not even getting into cost....

    2. Yeah,I don't even want to know how much it would cost. XD

    3. I'd love one but it would no doubt cost a goddamn fortune.

    4. Angel of Dream sells their 1/2 dolls starting at 580$. They are the only company I know of that sells them regulary, though.
I wouldn't buy them or any other doll in that scale. They don't match my group and are too big in general for me.

    5. As many people said, It's creep (just my personal opinion) and I can't imagine carry it. And it's heavy!

I like dolls being miniatures. For me 70cm is the limite. Having a doll in a children's size scares me, and I wouldn't have courage to keep it out of the box at night.

    6. I would be torn. If I thought it was beautiful I might be tempted, but besides the cost (it would probably cost and arm and a leg) I think it would be too heavy for me. I couldn't take him anywhere and I couldn't really show him off, and that would be depressing :( But it would be interesting to see one in person. I mean, the companies aren't too far off. Once you can jump from 60cm to 70cm, 80 and 90cm aren't too far off.

    7. I've seen the Angel of Dream page for these dolls, and I've seen one of these guys in person @ Doll-akon at A-kon last year. I will admit, they are kinda cool, but waaaaaayyy to big for me!! I really cant justify having something that LARGE! I was intimidated by my 70cm boy when I first got him, so I can't imagine having to cart one of the really big boys around.

Plus, I can't say I'm too attracted to the sculpts they have right now..... What makes it or breaks it for me is the potential of the face, and with what's available, I'm not in love. Maybe if they had more sculpts I'd consider it.......... but no. I don't need anything that big!!:o

    8. Nope, that would be way too big for me. I can't even imagine how big it would be!

    9. My biggest doll is a Lusion Dahlia and she is really a very heavy, big resin princess. I'm not sure, if I'd like to buy a doll that is bigger than her. If she would be very cute, I maybe could not resist. I could imagine that a big Chii would be very cute.

    10. My sd boy really seem to big for me to work with, I can't imagine getting a 1/2 boy! xD

    11. I would consider it if the proportions were childlike like the Lusion.
I cant imagine how difficult it would be to carry and move a doll that huge...
I know some people are scared of big dolls so it might be fun to have it around and startle visitors:sneaky

    12. My first SD was a 70cm and I thought he was huge. Before that, I had been browsing the Dollmore Lusion and the AOD Supers (Primo ♥). I knew RS Long had to be mine, but I wouldn't think twice about making the jump to an 80cm or a 90cm. C:

    13. I have a Mecha Angel with an artist's head and he's as big as I will ever do. The one good thing about the Mecha Angels is that they are not wide (they are tall and thin, like an umbrella) so they are not that much heavier than the shorter Mega Gems. But shipping and storage is a nightmare--I have to take him apart if I want to box him, so he just sits around the house like another family member.

    14. Ummm, I don't think I could...idk I love my dolls but a kid sized one is crazy... My dad would kick me out too.

    15. Well, it's not the factor of the size that would creep me out.
The creepiest part would actually be the price!

But I see where somebody would want one. For me? They'd be much too big and awkward to pose, heavy, weird to carry around, and I definitely don't have the space. Plus, I can't sew. I can't even pretend I can sew. I can't make a sock dress for a huge doll!

    16. The size is the problem...
I'm not that strong physically and sewing for them would be a nightmare XD
Also, if it was child size, I would feel obligated to get them their own bed and there isn't room for that in my house.

    17. Good lord, no. And if a 1/2 size is ever produced (yikes!) I wouldn't even want to be around them at meets and such. It just creeps me out a bit, honestly... Not to mention what everyone has already said about the practical difficulties of such a large doll- the initial cost, the weight, the lack of portability, posing difficulties.. Some of the larger bjds already out there are too big for my taste as it is! Then again, I am definitely a huge fan of miniatures, and would probably never own a doll over MSD size, so I am a pretty conservative voice in this discussion^^

    18. well AOD do male ones (I think I'm right?) and I've seen them compared to an adult. But without a doubt.. Yes!!, I really would in an instant.. but it's rare I would have that amount of cash or space but I can dream

    19. I think the doll would have to be THE perfect doll at THE perfect price with my money IN the bank. Otherwise, no. Most dolls at that size seem cumbersome to me.

    20. I would not buy a doll of that scale. I'd have nowhere to put such a large doll, and I'm sure the shipping would be outrageous. Not to mention the trouble finding proper wigs/clothes/eyes and the like-- most of which I imagen would need to be custom made in this case.
