1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

    1. It's hard to say because I havent seen anything but a 26cm in person. But the idea of owning a 60-70cm SD already makes me nervous so any bigger just seems impossible. And the price for those dolls are definitely not in my price range even if they were.

    2. If I could afford it I'd love one of the new dollmore Trinity dolls. I just want my dolls to sit around looking pretty, there's no size limit on that job specification!

    3. Noooooo...I have a hard enough time dealing with 70cm. They're too heavy and awkward for me. I've played with a 90cm AoD and they are gorgeous dolls, I really do love them! But I know due to the size, I couldn't give him the love he needs, so I wouldn't spend the money.

    4. heck yeah! I wish one of the newer Chinese companies would come out with a doll to rival Dollmore's Jude! (and at a cheaper price, I don't want to pay 2k for a doll ever.

    5. Awhile back I found a Very Large Dollie, actually.

I really can't fathom paying $6000 for a doll that I'm not even sure how I'd transport. (Let alone the great question of "Where am I going to get a spare $6000 to begin with?")

Seriously, the one I just linked is taller than I am. D:

My 60-70cm boys are plenty big enough, and can be a handful all on their own at times. I....really can't imagine something much bigger for the moment.

Maybe I'll get one of the AoD 90cms when I get a proper house to myself? But, for the moment? Not a great idea.

    6. I couldn't fit one in my apartment. No joke! But, I wouldn't buy a doll that large anyway. That's just me.

    7. I guess it would depend on how much I like the overall sculpt of the doll and if I could actually afford it. But, I definitely think a 1/2 doll of my own would be AWESOME. 8D

    8. Wow those are huge o: Personally, I wouldn't, they would just be too big for me, plus that price. They are amazing, though.

    9. Taller than quite a few of use I would imagine. Five feet nine inches!!! She has at least six inches on me.

Lol, you would need a dolly to cart around your doll.

    10. I'm interested in MINIATURES. 1/3 scale (70 cm men & 65 cm women) is perfect for me as they are like little people but big enough to make clothes w/o being a huge pain. Anything bigger & no fun anymore. Not to mention the WEIGHT of these dolls!. Now, an ANDROID (you know, moves itself), especially one that would clean my house... or one of these lovely boys ~ahem~
But no, not a BJD 1/2 size let alone the full size ones...

    11. I think if I wanted something that big, I'd just buy a second-hand mannequin and customize it ... something that one of my housemates did in the mid-eighties. I think once you get that big, ball joints and posing are rendered moot by the sheer weight of the thing.

I'm very interested in seeing where Dollmore (and other companies, eventually?) go with their Trinity line. But for me, personally, given my wee house (which is already ridiculously cluttered), my Model Doll is as large as I'd like to go.

    12. Perhaps if it was the 150cm Obitsu, that one would be fun to have around I think, and since obitsu are lighter than resin dolls I'm guessing she would not be too heavy (though still too heavy to carry around. If it were free I'd definately go for one, but if not then no, its just not practical.

    13. i fell in love with a 1/2 size dream of doll Bo...the only thing keeping me from buying him is the cost...only $390, but shipping's $116...

    14. I don´t know.. I would need to see them but my limit is 70cm... my boy is surely big enough. A 1/2 doll would be always home, too heavy and I think will fall often.

    15. It would be...interesting. But, no. I'm already too short (4'7") and a 1/2 doll would probably be taller than me. That would be very awkward. *_*

    16. That would be way too big for my preference. I'm fond of tiny dolls- even 1/3 dolls seem a little too large to me. Plus could you imagine how much it'd weigh!
I like dolls that can sit on my shelves, not an entire cushion on my couch. xD

    17. My first doll was a 60cm, then I went to a bbb tiny, then right back to a MSD, after all that I got a puki size and 3 yo-sd ... now I have a FL Feeple70 and a Dollmore Model girl, I've seen some of the AOL 1/2 boys and I might one day get a 1/2 I learned Never to say I won't buy one/ or get one of that size / company ... Those are the one's I seem to get the most of >>.<< *sigh* I think if I put all my resin kids on a scale they would weigh about as much as me at this point ...

    18. I would totally use that size and larger as an excuse for sewing. I think I'd like it and it would kinda remind me of when I was a kid and you had my size dolls and the like that you could dress up like. I used to pretend that it was my twin then. It would be fun to respark that childhood fun.

And... I'd totally see about what I'd have to do to turn it into my own personal palm pilot except verbal... total perscom from chobits moment...

    19. OMG!!! O_O that is some serious big dollie there! i don't think it'll be fun carrying something so big around.... definitely not for me >.> and she must be as heavy as hell!!!!! >_< i have no problem with the regular SD dolls 60-70 cm or so...but anything bigger would definitely be a burden

    20. A 1/2 would probably be way too big for me. Wouldn't it be really heavy? I like taking my dolls to Animazement but I would probably never take one that big out in public because of the weight (and because some people would probably get creeped out by a doll that large).
