Big Breast, Flat, or Inbetween

I like big boobs and I cannot lie
It's one of the main reasons why I have not yet changed my one msd girl, even though it's hard to find clothes for her. I mean, even her home company has redesigned their msd girl bodies to fit the measurement of the 'masses' and left my poor girl without a fitted clothing source xD;

Lol, I mean, I like those that 'show up' in clothes. You can totally tell that it's there. But I don't really want them to be overly large either, like Dollmore's glamorous boobies. I mean, the shape is so wow, but on that body it's just too much. I'd feel like I stuffed melons into them shirts xD;

Granted, my mind might be changed once I actually get a hold of one

 

I prefer the larger breasts since I think clothing tends to look and hang better on a doll like that.

 

Count me in the camp who says it depends on the sculpt and the doll size. For a more "grown-up" looking sculpt, which usually but not always includes SD-sized dolls, I prefer a medium-sized bustline. For "younger" looking MSD-sized girls, I prefer a chest with just a hint of a bustline.

 

I prefer a smaller to medium bust on all my dolls, except tinies then I prefer flat. I have'nt had a character in mind yet that called for a large bust and doubt I ever will.

 

I prefer medium-small but Volks Large is very beautiful so I guess it depends on the character. In the old days I luved the big boobs cause it was so new and different from what I was used to see on dolls. But the more I got into bjd the more I longed for a dollish doll and big boobs just make the doll less dollish and more mature.
But still what I don't like about small boobs (same would be with very big boobs) is that there are some issues with regular size clothes especially corset, tube type of tops and strapless stuff. I once asked Ospirit to make a dress she made smaller cause back then I had a SD13 medium bust girl. It's a small difference but the dress would slip if she didn't make that change. I was lucky to notice since I had another Ospirit dress that would slip of on the M boobs.
Even now I'm saving to order a FCS but I can't decide on bust size =_+....bleh..and it's not character related it's more clothes related cause I already bought the clothes boo XD..

 

I'm sensing a consensus that the face should match the body, at least in terms of maturity. I tend to agree; I prefer dolls that look like adults to those that look like children, at least in the SD and MSD ranges. I would be disturbed by an immature face on a mature body. Not my cup of tea. As for size, it depends on the character and how hard I want to work. Sewing attractive clothing for curvy dolls is a little harder than for the straighter figures.

 

I guess i got a rule of thumb. Although "big boobs" is differnt to everybody. I know some of my guy friends think "big" is a C cup or larger and some think F cup or larger is big.

Anyway I prefer the boob size to be based on the mold itself. I think some msds look immature and some look mature.

I'm finding that I prefer small boobs or no boobs on msd and big boobs on SD dolls.

Well, for me, it really depends on the character.
Not to mention where the body is coming from. Some of these large busted bodies just look absolutely ridiculous.

So, it's a combination of the character, and the body.​

 

Well it does depend on the character and the sculpt of the doll. I'm not a fan of huge breasts though. It also depends on how the breasts are sculpted. If they have nice smooth shape, or the boobs are just big and blink at you. I really can't handle the big boobs with the nipples sticking out ._.

 

Small to medium boobs only. No cleavage.

Others have posted lovely pics that are tasteful, but I would never own a doll with large breasts.

 

I like medium to large.
It depends on the character, but I don't have any pre-pubescent characters that I like enough to bother creating them in doll form. Even my drow, who I consider flat chested, still has boobs of some sort.
Small is okay, but I don't like the 'barely there' look of dolls that are supposed to look like children.

 

I prefer average. Then they look like a girl still, but can wear a wider range of clothing too.

 

Before buying my first girl I had a pretty long inner debate about wether I wanted the large or small bust. I, myself and pretty small so in a way I have related more to doll with small chests but perhaps my subconscious has different thoughts so I went with the larger chest plate and am still very happy with the decision Cy looks just right.

 

Small to In-between.... I really am not a fan of large breasts on dolls. I just cant see myself owning one with them.

I think, for myself, it depends on what the dolls personality. I have 'profiles' as of now for all the dolls that I want. I know one has little breast, one would have large and well then there is none exsistant.

 

My preference of breast size tends to lie in how mature the face looks. I prefer for the body to make sense with the maturity of the face. I had a Mini who was quite curvy, with what I considered larger breasts (and they were quite perky with visible "nipple" through her clothing), but her face was so child-like that it really bothered me. Instead of sanding her down or anything, I just let her move on to another home.

 

When I first saw my doll, I really didn't care about her body per say. I was more interest in her face but when I got her I was kinda embarrassed about her nipples more than the size of her breast. Her breast, if she was a human, is on the small size but they are perky and her nipples show through her bras and some of her clothes. But over all if I had to choose the size I would go with an intermediate to a small size, just enough with the right clothes and hair style you know that my doll is a girl.

 

Both of my girls have large breasts which can sometimes make buying clothes a bit of a pain my Ryung isn't really to bad although I joke that my Soom Beryl has porno boobs lol.
