Big Breast, Flat, or Inbetween

I think it varies depending on which doll it is. Some dolls might look better with bigger breasts and others with smaller. I like both, but I just can't stand a certain look that some companies do to dolls with big breasts. >_> Not all though, just some.
But preferably I'd like them not to be too small or too big.

 

I like all kinds but sometimes the big ones get a little unreal and down right scary! I tend to like mature bodies better, I've never liked baby dolls growing up, but I have everything from the "neutral" bodies to "busty" bodies.

 

Ah, I honestly like in between size. I don't want my girl mistaken for a boy but with large boobs it's kinda hard to find clothes for her. (They are not too large IMO but bigger than most that I see.)

 

I want at least on doll to be kind of simi flat. She's suppose to be lanky 13/14 year old who gets mistaking for a boy.

 

What do you consider large or average? I can't say I've seen any SD sized girls that I would call small breasted compared to real life women.
I don't think that small breasts make them look like boys, but then again I like my boys to look really manly and chiseled.

 

For me it all depends on the character I've chosen for the doll that is the deciding factor for what size breasts I'd prefer. If I were to pick one though I'd probably say in between because I like more mature looking dolls =)

 

I prefer something in-between (or smaller if she's a young girl, of course). My friend's girl has an enormous chest and it's really hard to sew for her!

 

Depends on the girl. Okay, so right now my collection is all guys, but looking at the characters I plan on doll-ifying, some are more flat-chested, some are *very* busty, and the others fall all in between.

However, I'm not as hung-up on getting their chests right as I am on finding the best facial representation. Luckily some companies offer choices, and for the gals who are more defined by their shape, that's a blessing, but face-shape is more important than boob shape-- after all, the right outfit can mask or enhance boobage...

I really like both the Unoa flat chest & large milk piece. I feel that certain dolls just have too much of a baby face for big boobs and it makes me cringe when I see a doll that looks like a little girl with some huge breasts.

I simple think many clothes look nicer if the girl has at least average breasts. But it does at times leave me longing for wider hips too. I like balance, so I would like doll with both breasts and waist and thighs. But if the character is a young girl, then I will pick a body without breasts. I mean those are pretty too.

But I do want to get the big breasted body too for some doll even if it makes clothing a pain...

So conclusion: Average or big breasts as long as it fits the character.

 

I like them to be either in between or big. This is mostly because the OCs I'm making these dolls shells for are women with breasts. If one of my OCs happen to be younger or have less in the breast area down the line, then I guess I will get a smaller chested doll. It really all comes down to the OC I'm attempting to shell out at the moment. Just so happens that all the ones I've done so far need the boobies. lol

so short: it depends how the company sculpted it. some company offer size option and well... sometime one of the size look odd for whatever reason. or simply I will go depending on the character :3

 

Agreeing with everyone here on the 'if it fits the character, do it' thing, But you never know if your character may change, Maybe you like her with a smaller chest and wide hips? Or maybe not, They're the ones that decide it in the end. *u*

I personally think the companies who offer like, both small and large options for dolls is doing it right. If you have a baby face girl with DD+ breasts, I don't think it would really feel comfortable having her around, at least not for me. :I

 

Currently all my girls have small to medium chests. But I will be bringing home two Iplehouse EID girls soon and they have larger busts than what I'm used to. But I think I'm going to enjoy the diversity.

 

I prefer inbetween. if the bust is too big then it's so annoying to hide the nipples ... and if I want flat chested I might as well buy a boy body^^;

 

I like all! I really like seeing the bustier girls since I was so used to volk's flat chested SDs and even SD13s were very small bust. I'd love to get a bigger busted girl someday. Seems like it'd be hard to find clothing though!!!

 

I adore my Mia's larger bust. I wanted a mature looking Lolita girl who's boob's just pop out of those frilly dresses

I prefer bigones and in between. a woman doll should look womanly with curvy lines (I don't say they have to be fat! \: )
of course a "younger" type of doll shouldn't have big breasts.

 

I prefer an in-between size. For a mature doll, I like to have at least a moderate bust; I tend to prefer the way clothes drape over a curved figure. On the other hand, I don't like the ones that are so large they look out of proportion to the rest of the body and draw the eye away from the rest of the figure. Sometimes they seem to draw too much attention and detract from the aesthetic balance, if that makes sense?

As others have said, though, for a more youthful doll I would definitely want a small/flat bust. I know it's a look that has something of a following, but I've never liked the anime-stylized look of a mature body with a wide-eyed, child-like face, even if the character isn't meant to be an actual child.

But since I prefer more mature/adult dolls to the tinies, I'd say my overall vote would go with a medium bust size.
