Big Breast, Flat, or Inbetween

did I said that every flat chested female is a child? no, I didnt. I said that for ME and MY dolls it looks too immature and that I dont like it. Thats my choice for my dolls.
Female can be flat chested, have medium or big breast and can be innocent, sexy, smart or whatever certain character is created like with any size. End of discussion, I wont argue with you.

 

I'm another who prefers flat and small chested girl dolls (and characters, and people). Part of it comes from my love of androgyny and just my love of flat chests (boys' flat chests are my favorite though, I wasn't interested in buying girl dolls til recently).

I'm not a fan of large breasts, partly because these dolls and characters are often portrayed as sexy, which isn't what I'm looking for. Also, large breasts and large hips seem to shorten the torso so that no matter how thin the waist is, what I see is a wide and short torso when clothed. Personally, I just like slim, lean body types and I find medium/small/no breasts compliments that body type best.

 

Personally, I think it depends on the doll's character. It also depends on proportion. If she is petite/thin, I would prefer her to be on the flatter side, but if she is voluptuous and curvy (think the Iple ladies), then big bust is the way to go. Its just my personal preference, but I always find it strange when rail thin girl dolls have these GIGANTIC assets...I tend to lean towards more realistic proportions rather than stylized.

 

I prefer the large breast. It gives the doll a more shapely figure. Looks better in clothes.

One doesn't have any breasts at all, one has small ones and my largest doll has pretty big ones.

 

I agree. It depends but my doll of the big breasted variety. Personal preference for me I suppose. <.<; >.>;

 

The size doesn't matter to me as much as the look. If the breasts look unnatural or oddly shaped it puts me off.

 

I honestly am comfortable with all three, actually. The first girl I'm getting will have 23.5 cm breasts, so I'd say that's a fairly reasonable size.

 

Well if the girl body is really thin, then a flat chest will look better, but otherwise bigger is better! 8D I mean, I have a Dollfie Dream Dynamite, and I love her body! She doesn't just have big boobs, but is curvy in the rest of her body as well! ^^ I don't like the look of the stick-thin woman that for some reason is supposed to be the ideal beauty in today's culture, the female form should have curves!

Obviously a child doll is supposed to be flat chested, but I have to admit I often mistake actual female BJDs for boys when they're not busty, just because there are seemingly so many more male pretty-boy BJDs that that's what I expect they must be. It's like how in the shoujo artsyle, shoujo artists that draw nothing but pretty boys but write in a female character don't really know how to make her look like a chick, so either she just looks like another pretty-boy or they slap huge boobs on her despite her skinny boyish frame... XD; I don't like a more boyish or androgenous look for girls, I like to girlify it up as much as possible! ^^

 

I like all kinds of breasts, as long as it fits the body type. A curvy women looks great with bigger breast, while a skinny girl looks adorable with small breasts.

 

I think I prefer smaller chests or in between chests to bigger ones.
For me it just looks weird to have a big chest on a BJD. This is probably not the way I picture them to be, just like I find it weird to see really manly and muscular BJDs, and tanned skins BJDs.
I can't really explain why, I guess it's one of those things where you already have an established picture in your mind of how a regular BJD should look like.

 

I like in-between breasts. Enough so you can see they're there through the clothes, but not very large. I think that's the cutest body type, on dolls and people.
Plus big busts are hard to sew for, and clothes look weird without darts for flat-chested ones

 

Chest size though ultimately depends on what you wanna do. A good body sculpt be it big or small is fantastic haha. Big is harder to get clothes and small looks really kiddish. I have both (FP65 is large while SD10g are really small) and well they have their own unique look to say. If I have to choose one over the other, if my choice was to take photos and display, big will be more appealing for large scaled dolls while if I am going for dress up, SD10 would be a easier life lol.

 

I tend to think that boob size depends on the doll. However I agree that havnig larger boobs makes them look more feminine and also makes clothes look better too.

 

For me, it depend on the character that i want for my doll, but true i will prefer a doll with breast than small.
But who knows? maybe i will want a doll with small breast

 

Well it doesn't really matter for me. It actually depends on the sculp of the face.. its gonna get ugly if she has a big bust with a young face. so it depends really.

But I rather have doll with normal sizes rather than those with awkward proportions.

 

I'm gonna choose the apparently (from the replies I skimmed through) less popular option and say, omg I love flat chested dollies.

Okay not flat, I like like... 13 year old boobs. Slightly underdeveloped 13 year old boobs. I dunno, maybe it's bias towards my own figure, but I just LOVE a slim mini with itty bitty titties *__*

I mean, I agree that character also factors into the body, but unless the character NEEDS a certain breast size, she's getting the smallest bust option available... and even if they're supposed to have large breasts, I'd rather go with a medium size XD heck, even my succubus doll has a small bust, although I worked that into her character >>

 

I'm with you, and sometime the big bobs is really too much - the faces are to young for that IMO.

 

I like the larger bust for a more mature look but any size is fine depending on the character. I think I like the larger bust because of my own lacking... ha.
