Big Breast, Flat, or Inbetween

I think the character determines the body-type first, but when I have a range of bust sizes in mind, I have a hard time not picking the bigger size.

I've grown up in an era and country where big breasts are idolized, so I like my dolls to have that for some reason.

The diversity of shapes and sizes in the BJD hobby is truly great. Even though I think I'll consistently pick big busts for my girl dolls, I love seeing the other choices people make, too. I think any combination of shapes has a lot of potential, and some people bring out amazingly beautiful things from body types I wouldn't have thought up myself.

 

To beat a dead horse, the character matters when I pick the breast size.

However, being a rather lesser endowed girl myself, I tend to like large ones because I don't get to see them every day. The DD dynamite body makes me laugh at times because it can be a bit over the top, but I must admit that I love that curvy big bust.

My favorite big bust is the Iplehouse girls because they make the brick house look nice and the breast have some droop to them. Aside from Dollfie Dreams, I admit I'm not as into the unrealistic "boob on a stick" look that some doll companies suffer from. Large and shapely for me.

 

I don't really like flat or tiny breasts, but I definitely don't like over the top big (like Loongsoul dolls).

 

I never really took it into consideration until recently... I love some of the bigger busts, but I absolutely adore Doll Chateau females! I'm so excited for my Bella to come in, honestly one of my favorite things about her is her cute tiny breasts.

*realizes she sounds weird... glad no one is around to read this xD*

 

If there is an option then I choose according to the character. I think most is in the "normal" size.


My CustomHouse girls have the only chest option there is (obviously) and Jamilie (obitsu 60cm) have the standard size. But both my larger Dollfie Dreams are busty, I have the DDdy body and the standard DD with large bust. Sakura my MiniDD have a flat chest and on the other side we have Aurora (Iple J.I.D) with the larger bust. I have a beauty line MNF with normal bust, and a DZ MSD with normal bust

 

Unless the doll was going to be based on one of my characters, I really wouldn't care about the breast size. I usually buy dolls based on the face and size.

 

I prefer mine to have small breasts. This might mostly because i'm small chested myself, so a larger bust on a doll feels almost unnatural to me? Also, all my female characters in mind are young, under 16 mostly, so having a large chest doesn't fit too well

 

I like small or middle sized...hehehe...because I image my dolls to be at a young age.
And yeah, I agree it depends on the character. I do appreciate well-sculpted large bust, though, as long as they don't look too big for the overall proportion ^_^

 

My first doll is going to be super-large chested, but after that who knows! I wouldn't say I'll always go for the larger busts, I think I'd like quite a variety. And of course as everyone has already said, it depends on the character.

 

I like in between!! I do have a girl with smaller ones to though! With bigger boobies id worry if her clothes would fit! x3

 

I find myself leaning towards the smaller-boobed end of the spectrum to be honest.

I find because of the build of the doll ie because they're real skinny that large breasts look a little fake or at least quite dispropotional

That's just me, but I guess if you have a large breasted character it's work just fine^^.x

 

I've currently got them all from itsy bitty to large and voluptuous and love them all, I can appreciate any boob as long as it's well shaped.

For me, it depends on the character of the doll - my MNF Ryeon has a large bust, because it suits her character, same with my DoT E-an. But, for my next MNF girl I plan on getting, she'll have a small bust, but not tiny - I prefer curvy girl dolls, rather than thin or flatter chested girls (Amusingly, probably cause I've got big boobies, and makes it easier cause I'm good at tailoring for them!) A friend of mine prefers little boobies, so I think it is just personal preference heh!

 

I perfer smaller bust. I have nothing against big busts, though. I just feel like it's easier to make clothing and buy clothing for smaller chested dolls.

 

I like in between and big breasts. I'm not a big fan of the flat chested girls (unless, of course, they are yo-sd sized).

 

Haha well it depends. I personally have a fairly flat chest, so I really can appreciate girl dolls with smaller chests, and it doesn't make them seem more child-like to me. However, if I do want a girl with a larger chest, I would rather it be natural - partly because I prefer more natural looking dolls, partly because clothes for large breasted dolls can be hard to find&fit. I would say like a C cup max... if larger then it had better look EXTREMELY realistic and believable- the doll body should be curvy.

 

Personally I proffer the dolls with a bigger bust. Mainly because even my MSD dolls are meant to be about 17 years old and I want them to look more like 17 year old's not end up looking like they could be children.

 

character wise. normally my females are very curvy and i really like that. but lately i want something different. i want a skinny small breasted girl. i mean like hardly anything on top and tall. so i have come to the conclusion that i will have to frankenstein her together because i can't get the right parts all together with one company. and the butts are too big. TG for the dremel and sand paper.

 

My only girl is a SD10 and her bust is the equivalent of like an A-cup which seemed to small for her character's age (14) but I figure it's a historical setting and people developed more slowly back then. When I was that age I already had a DD XD

I do want to get some grown up female dolls with the equivalent of a GG or bigger, but so far the only ones big enough that I like (in resin) are the DM model girls with the special lingerie(?) bust.

 

I do prefer a bigger bust, I just prefer a more mature looking doll however some of the really large busts just look funny to me. Some of them are sculpted so oddly, they really don't look realistic at all.
