Big Breast, Flat, or Inbetween

I really like in between but leaning more towards the flat end of things.

 

As long as they look natural, I don't care.

I like my characters to be diverse, but for some reason fake boobs freak me out. Also, if the nipple is not placed correctly, it really bothers me.

 

I currently only own two dolls that are both on the Leekeworld Art Body and the bust is almost nonexistent which I really don't mind,I prefer a modest chest on most of my female characters anyway.

That being said,I can still appreciate the look of a nicely sculpted large bust on other doll bodies but I can already see myself choosing the smallest bust option whenever purchasing another female doll in the future.

 

I like them to be somewhere in between or on the smaller side.
Of course it all depends on what kind of character I have in mind .

 

I like a variety, honestly. This is why I want to end up with hybrid dolls cos I have different heights and widths in my dollies.

 

Honestly I prefer smaller/natural breasted dolls as opposed to big ones as I have biggies and they cause health problems. I just don't want my girls to have to go through that.

 

I don't like large chested dolls. Hard to fit, hard to stand, and just looks odd to me. I like naturally shaped small/medium size.

 

I prefer bustier dolls since I am naturally busty myself. I don't even mind the extremely well endowed dolls but I doubt I would ever own one.

 

I have a lot of things that I take into consideration about bust size. If it's a character, I want them to have boobs that make sense with their character, and lifestyle. If they're very athletic, or skinny, or small, I would probably prefer medium to small. I do, however, enjoy how clothes fit on dolls with larger breasts, since it gives a very clear female shape.
One thing though, if they are medium to large breasts, I don't often enjoy the look of smooshed together boobs, like they're wearing corsets from Phantom of the Opera (2004) Masquerade, unless they are wearing corsets/push up bras.

 

Generally i pick boob size to match a character. And enjoy the wide variety of options.
But as for my "preference", i personally i smaller boobs even real life not just bjd. I think they're cute and represent femininity in a more delicate/innocent kinda way.
Its part of my personal "theres more to females then their boobs" campaign. I think you can take a doll and represent her as clearly female without resorting to such superficial aspects as long hair and big boobs.
Bare in mind im a D cup , so I feel like part of my preference is derived from my constant encounters with boys who only liked me for my assets.
The other part is, as an artist, you learn when drawing a female you dont just draw a man, slap on big boobs and call it a day. You learn about the subtle differences of the female anatomy.
But that said. I have absolutely nothing against big boobed dolls. 3 of my characters have big boobs. One of them hate hers and wishes they were smaller, i look forward to turning her into a doll so we can lament together xD

 

I like all of the sizes (that I've seen). Big or small, it's alright with me.
With that said I'd buy the size that matches the character.

 

I would say more flat, because usually when BJD companies make big breasts it's like too big ballons, totally unatural and very ugly to my taste (for example all of the size of breast of the FL M-Line are just too balloon-like for me and I just can't stand them.) Big breast aren't supposed to be that way ! I'm an E cup and they are not like that AT ALL. That's a shame, because I do like pretty, realistic and pear-shaped big breasts, as Magic Mirror Studio or Cerisedoll for example.
And if all the doll breast were natural, well, I wouldn't have any preference I guess, on the principle, any size is fine by me, I'm just really bothered with this balloon-like representation of breast.

 

I usually prefer smaller breasts, mainly because I like the aesthetic look of that better. I am pretty busty myself and I have nothing against that but I usually just find smaller breasts on dolls more appealing and more realistic looking in and out of clothes. I'm only planning on getting Msd's for my adult dolls so that means there are a lot of smaller chested doll options, but a lot of companies only make Msd's that look like children or teens so it's sometimes hard to find one with a more adult looking face. Because of that I'm actually surprised about how many Msd dolls there are with gigantic boobs XD. I think it's really strange when you have a doll that has a very child like face and then a huge chest, it just looks off to me...but each to their own.

The other thing I think about big boobs on a doll is, like other people have said, they often look like orbs just stuck onto the chest. And real boobs just aren't like that. I think the Minifee body does an amazing job of making a larger bust look natural and I wish more large busted dolls would look like that. Oh and another thing...it always confuses me when the "medium bust" is actually like a DD or something and the large is like a G

As for my own dolly collection of the girl dolls that I have planned are going to have smaller chests or even nearly flat chests. But my next doll I'm planning to get is going to be a Resinsoul Rong. And I've been torn for a long time because I love the Li body with the small bust and so that's the one I was more inclined to want but for the character I actually think the larger breasts would make sense. So much to my surprised I think I'll actually get the Rong body for my character. So maybe I'll end up with more variety in my doll's chests than I first expected to.

 

The unnatural look of larger doll breasts comes from the fact that they are sculpted to look like they're wearing a push-up bra so they look good in clothing.

 

I prefer dolls with small to medium sized breasts. There are a few larger ones that I don't mind, but I don't think I'd go for them given the choice. The ones that are sculpted to give the push-up cleavage look are a definite no for me, because I feel like it makes the rest of the torso look strange.

 

I prefer small on MSD size, but larger on SD size. But by large I do not mean hilariously out of proportion, clownish, massive honkers that mean she will not fit any clothing ^^;

Little Monica's bust sizes are perfect; there's only a subtle difference between medium and large and both are aesthetically pleasing and prettily sculpted, unlike some dolls bodies where it looks like the sculptor has never seen a human female nude o__O

 

I tend to get small-medium size for 1/4 girls, for my big 70cm dolls i get medium-large. It depends on the height & body of the doll that determines the chest size i want, i usually dont get the largest size because sometimes it looks awkward on their skinny skinny bodies.

 

I like my dolls to have a smaller bust, I'm petite myself so I relate to thinner/smaller breast dolls.
