Big Breast, Flat, or Inbetween

For me big breast usually... but I don't mind smaller depending if it fits the character for the doll.

 

I like a good variety in size as I like a lot of different sculpts. My DC girls have small and perky but still notably there boobs, my leeke art body girl is quite flat chested and then I have two tiny DC dolls who have no boobs at all (which suits them due to their size and the style of their sculpt). I have a Dollmore Catish on layaway though and she is on the Judith body which as far as I can tell has quite an ample bosom. I used to own a two Dollfie Dream girls and they were also large chested which suited them due to the exaggerated proportions, so for me any size goes!

 

I like small or inbetween...since some larger ones doesn't look natural to me...
And none of my character would be the girl that has breast implants... nope nope!

 

i prefer in between but id go for small before fairland biggest bust they are just so big. maybe i'll change my mind in the future but for now they look like two gient watermelon side my side and not realistic then again some people have fake and not fake breast that are that big

 

I prefer dolls with medium to small breasts. Some of the larger breasts look unusual to me, and some sculpts made the large breasts almost look like a mono-boob, which is plain WEIRD!!

I do admit the larger breasts look good on some dolls as long as everything is proportioned out (curvy hips and enough leg structure so the doll doesn't look like it'll collapse beneath the weight of its own chest)

 

I prefer smaller breast, and on some dolls I'd go for the biggest bust available, but never in between ;3

 

I would really love to see a large breasted girl with curves on the market; like, curvy. But I know that'd never happen... *sigh*. I like the medium large size at the max, and the flat chested is cute too. Variety is best. But I really have a hard time seeing the extremely large chested dolls who are stick thin. Its just not very realistic, which is what I fell in love with in the bjd hobby.

 

I agree with most people, that size generally depends on what kind of character you have. That being said, sometimes people have preferences for characters of a certain size. I used to always have busty characters because I myself have that attribute and that's what I'm used to.

 

for my own preference.. I usually get attracted to the ones with bigger boobs. One reason is because it suits the character well. I usually go with bigger boobs for sd sized dolls but then opt to try and find smaller ones for msd just because it doesnt appeal as much to me. Altho sometimes it bigger ones look good with msd too. But with bigger boobs, I find that it's harder to find clothes for them. So it's probably one of the only things that I dont like. But when you do find something gorgeous it costs a lot. haha!

 

That's my answer from 04-14-2010, just a teensy bit over 5 years. I've gotten some dolls since then, and they are a range. Of my first two, a pair of Volks Dollfies, one has big breasts and her companion has nonexistent ones. I thought I'd never get a flat-chested one, but there it is. Second doll, flat chested. The Hujoos I collected have the same medium chest size because Hujoo only makes them one size. When I had two 27cms, they had two different breast sizes. I mainly like to have diversity in my collection. Now, my current two Obitsus, one is a 60cm and her breasts are pretty prominent. Then my 11cm has no breasts, and at 11cm, I prefer her have no breasts.

So, I made some guesses then, but was so wrong on what I ended up getting.

 

I think a medium size (around C cup) is good, but it depends on the character. The only thing I don't like is super huge busts.

 

I like a variety. It really depends on the doll. However I do tend to like the smaller option.

 

In general, I would say large but that wouldn't prevent me from buying a BJD with a smaller chest. It's not a requirement. :P

For my girls I just try to get a bust that matches the age and body type I have in mind for the character of the doll. All my tiny girls are flat chested because they are meant to be children. My large Peak's Woods SD girls have "normal" bust on Lolita body, which looks to me to be a larger B to smaller C cup. The larger AB femme sculpt girl I'm waiting on has the Large bust, which looks more like a D cup to me and the breasts are pushed up to show cleavage for gowns and corsets. I think I prefer a B-D cup range in my SD girls because they are immediately recognizable as female in clothing, which tends to add bulk and sometimes hides the figure of the doll, unless the outfit is tight and stretchy or very tailored. I'd be open to a smaller bust on SD girl if I had an athletic or androgynous character in mind for a particular sculpt however.

 

I think it would depend on the size of the doll for me..
I'm usually into smaller dolls and most of them have baby faces so I prefer in between

 

It really depends on the character I come up with for the doll. But I mostly like small to mid-size ta-tas. I would actually like to see some more adult female dolls with flatter chests.

 

I don't like huge breast, it remains Barbie. Better medium and small.

 

Well, on one hand, as someone who actually owns big breasts, I can say for sure that they're very difficult to find clothes for and I'm certain this happens on dolls as well. Plus I've always been taught to me ashamed of mine, so I feel some rejection towards large chests. On the other, I wonder if getting a doll with larger breasts could help me with my own issues? But as a default I'd much rather get an A cup.

 

Flat/inbetween is always cute to me. Its like, it just gives off that cute girl vibe to me. Like my Hatsune Miku DD is an SS bust. And for some reason, it just makes her cuter!
