Big Breast, Flat, or Inbetween

I like it all! And it really depends on the doll which works best for me! But I often tend to like larger breasts more

 

It depends on the doll! I like smaller busts for my SD/MSD girls, but bigger busts for my dollfie dream/super gem girls.

 

Personally with how I feel about my own body and my insecurities (I'm female) I prefer flat chested or small breasts. No offense to bigger breasts but it's just my view of a comfortable body. I myself like to have small breasts (I'm a small b cup I think??? idk I just had surgery to reduce one side since it was about a D cup and the other wasn't so I still need to get measured once I heal up) and I would honestly prefer a flatter chest, so I guess feelings toward myself make me turn away from dolls with bigger breasts.

Especially the ones that are crazy big, like gigantic anime breasts; I know some people have that big of breasts and I feel for them( that neck and back pain is horrible!) but I just don't find those appealing when I'm looking for a new doll.

 

I much prefer smaller chests, large breasts on a doll are hugely off-putting to me because of issues I have around my own body (dysphoria). There's a doll on my wishlist, I love her face and the fact she comes in a dark tan, but her body options are all super skinny with huge breasts and I'm a little scared that if I get her I'll always resent that aspect of her a little.

 

Smaller for me, easier to sew for and I like dolls sweet and adorable!

 

I'm not a big fan of humongous breasts, but I guess if I had a character in mind for a doll to whom a pair of larger breast would suit better, it would not be a problem, as long as it is ''realistically big'', and not ''manga-like'' big. As for my first doll, I purposely asked to get her head on another doll's body that was considered the ''immature one''. The body isn't flat-chested, but have small breasts. It fits her looks and character much more in this case.

 

For me, it would depend on the character. Normally I like the big breasted ones though

 

I wouldn't mind having a variety as long as they look natural. Seeing those that are really huge and gravity defying don't really look good in my eyes.

 

In my opinion, I think that a medium breast size is perfect. Why? Well simply because I am not a fan of huge boobs or too small boobs. Unless it goes with the character then I could accept tiny perky breasts lol. Large breasts don't really appeal to me.

 

I have one doll on a 'girl' body, and she is pretty flat-chested. I prefer her that way, since I seem to gravitate towards fairly androgynous dolls/characters in general. My other girl and next girl are on 'boy' bodies but their characters are girls (well one is genderfluid probably. and I should say she will be on a 'boy' body, I don't have her yet). This is due to their characters' gender identities more than what I think looks nice (for the record I think they look great), but in general I seem to prefer androgyny. That said, I would like a bustier girl to be my more feminine doll and Caitlin (the genderfluid character)'s girlfriend, and part of the reason for that is contrast and variety. So I guess it depends.

 

I totally understand where you're coming from. I have Body dysphoria and I feel that is the origin of why I prefer small chest to no chest characters. Not that there is anything wrong with having big breasts though.

the super skinny and huge breasts bug me too, I see a lot of pretty dolls I'd love to have but then these proportions turn me away from them. I much prefer realistic proportions over the anime/barbie/tiny waist ones.

Variety is the spice of life! I don't discriminate when it comes to dolly chests. Flat chests, big chests, anywhere in between is fine with me. As a big-chested girl myself, I think it's kinda nice to have a girl whose bust is shaped similar to mine, but I also have a smaller busted girl who is just as cute. Also as someone who grew up playing with barbies, it's nice to see some variation in chest size in the bjd world.

 

It depends of the character. One of my floating heads is going to be androgynous so obviously she'd have flat chested body. Another needs adult body with bigger boobs.

 

Definitely, large breasts (like me).

 

Small bust. I think it's because I'm bigger-busted and have always wanted a small chest, so it's a case of bust envy.

 

I prefer an in-between size, I guess. Shape and appearance is more important even though the body will always have clothes on.
I like a mature look but I've never liked a larger sized bust.

I dictate body build- including bust size- according to the character associated with the head sculpt. I usually prefer that the associated parts are...proportionate to the design, large or small. That said, there are times when overly large breasts can help in creating a desired aesthetic.

For example, 2D Doll's thicker girl body achieves some of its perceived chubbiness through its ample bosom. This would come in handy when building my character, the Comtesse, as she is a short, chubby woman with many curves and a prominent chest. Bodies with actual fat to them, as we all know, are nearly impossible to find outside of YoSD size, so even the suggestion of some girth is useful.

By contrast, my character Magwin is a post-pubescent borderline adult. Her body is still going through some changes when she is forcefully married off to her equally unhappy husband. Were it not too tall, the Dollstown18 body would be perfect; slim, minimal curves, and almost no breast at all. I value all shapes of women and men, and my characters reflect this. The plan is to put Magwin on a Doll Chateau body, as it is the closest thing I can find in an appropriate size and skintone. I am a bit displeased with the more mature hips and bust on it; hopefully they won't make her look as grown in person.

 

I prefer the small chests and large hips... Like DC or DZ kid bodys !
