1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Bishonenhouse dolls!

Jun 8, 2016

    1. Look forward to seeing what everyone comes up with the next few months. I am thrilled to see so many noting the BH band wagon. I just ordered the boys from AC. I have never ordered the MSD size from them before. Plus getting lots of shirts soon . Not that the boys need more, but hey one, let alone soon to be six by Christmas they all need their own stuff, not good at sharing.

    2. @animemom congratulations on the AC order. I have found their msd clothing on the small side and has fit Vince really well. Their msd shoes, really big! I use those for my 48cm Obitsu whose feet are chubby.

I need to do another order myself, but am going to wait for their Fall event as the doll I need to dress won't arrive until October. Vince also got lucky at the local doll con. I wanted a pair of red leggings for another doll, and found the perfect pair in a bag with five other pairs of leggings, all different colors. The whole bag was $5.00! Vince got the black ones with skull and crossbones and the grey leopard print. He has more clothes than any of my dolls! Spoiled brat.

    3. Yeah I have the character figured out for second Vince if seller ever gets back to me. I am hoping boots will fit him and if not maybe my Nails/ Logan. I don't know why she hasn't written back.

    4. I'm wondering if should keep Spade's sculpt name or give him a new one. I mean, Spade fits him so beautifully, but to me it also seems more like a nickname, especially given that I intend on having him become my little geology buddy.

    5. I always change my guys names. Eddie was named after Eddie Izzard, Zane after Zane Grey, Nails will be named Logan after the town near Donn, Elliot is my Spade, and he will be named Elliot after the character from Leverage. Spike, my other Steve was named after his previous dragon form. My new addition who will arrive in mid September I am naming Zeke. His story will be shared soon enough.

    6. I've only ever kept one doll with their sculpt name, and even then, it's a nickname his character goes by rather than his "real name" (which hilariously, I've not actually thought of yet...and he's already two).

    7. I kept the name Vince, but it is short for Vincenzo. Normally I change a sculpts name, but I've been calling him Vince for so long, I probably couldn't remember a different name, lol.

    8. Makes sense. I just love naming things. When I had Breyer horses I loved naming them. Full registered names, and nicknames. LOL

    9. I love coming up with names too, heck, I even name all of my various bits of technology. But hey, perhaps once I start working on him, he'll start talking. Once I've removed the excess resin around his mouth of course.

    10. I do hope he will tell you his name. It's hard to make these guys to unique from each other other then the wigs and eye color, but to me a name is the main independence.

    11. Me too. Spade works well as a nickname I think (especially given his occupation-to-be), but I definitely want something to set him apart from the rest. I've already been brainstorming mods for him...he's certainly going to be unique if I can pull this off.

    12. I look forward to seeing what you do with him. I am anxious for my Spade as a couple of my characters depending on him arriving in a timely manner.

    13. Oh, I keep forgetting to post pics on the FB group! Sorry, so distracted lately.

I'm looking forward to this Fall. Cooler weather, and everyone back here after the summer break. It's been so slow as it seems like everyone is so busy.

    14. Happy to have you share photos whenever possible on Facebook page.
I am anxious for Autumn as well. Cooler weather means fewer bugs, more photo shoots and stories as less yard work for me. I have so many ideas and projects, but in summer unless it's raining can't do much. I want hubby to make me a flat table for in back for photo shoots, but he's even busier. I need to find a junk table that's light weight to put on back deck and then store in barn for winter.

    16. Thanks. I do as well.

    17. @animemom - I really do hope everyone else who ordered Spade or chose him as one of their rewards gets him soon! He's so very cool. He might not fit in with the "aesthetic" of the rest of my dolls but I'm confident I can make it work, especially if the mods I'm thinking of work. And if they don't...well that doesn't matter. I love comic books and have a neat little collection of mostly obscure artist-y stuff, and these little guys just fit right in with that. Means I'll have to get him some friends in the future to keep him company. ;)
I love Eddie's new toy! Where on earth did you find a fidget spinner that small?

    18. I got the spinner from Five Below. They are a dollar type store. Items are from $1-$5. They sell in a package of two for $5.

    19. Ooh interesting. I wonder if our junky-type stores have anything like that.
