1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Bishonenhouse dolls!

Jun 8, 2016

    1. @animemom congratulations on two more additions! What a fun and fantastic crew! I thoroughly enjoy your photos and photo stories.

Vince keeps reminding me that he is Number 1 on any list, and what is the hold up re: boots, eyes, fur coat (new one to me). I remind him back that being Number 1 on any list can be dangerous. Like the 'who needs to go so I can buy x list'. Got to keep things in perspective.

    2. I have so much for the Steve and Vince size, I am anxious to get Nails as he needs to try on stuff before I know if I works or should sell. I also need to know especially about pants as want to create a pattern. These guys I so love. Wish I could trade my sale stuff just to get them stuff.

    3. Do to begin to heavy, and it being to Hot I decided to move up Eddie's trip to the local Japanese Garden. It was a good thing, as got told by a staff member that "props" we're not allowed in gardens for photos. So it maybe last time I go to garden.
At least we got a few good photos.

Pretty much the last photo I really wanted and thankfully got.

    4. Awww, that sucks that you can't take photos of dolls in the Japanese garden.

    5. Gardens have been in touch with me and are looking into it. if I can do it during week days I will go for that option. Rather be flexible, then loose the place entirely.

    6. Wow, your pictures are great! Eddie was sure enjoying himself! I hope it works out that you can go during off times and take 'props'.

    7. Wow, I've seen rules about taking "professional" photos at different gardens being a no-no, but a doll? That you're not using to sell anything? That always seemed to me to be the sticking point - they didn't want anyone profiting freely off their gardens. Generally the rule was something about tripod usage and professional cameras and gear. And even then, it was okay if you got a permit ($) first.
But wow. :( Bummer if they decide you can't take the resins out for fun trips there anymore.

    8. That is the same rules at our local Japanese garden. Pros or people like wedding photographers have to pay a fee. No tripods allowed, and if they looked at my photos they can barely make out most of the backgrounds. I am hoping it was just not a good day for me to photograph and they will allow on slow days like Monday or Wednesday. Thursdays are free admission day, so maybe not then.

    9. @animemom - Those photos are great! Pity about the apparent "no-props" rule.

    10. I told the garden of incident and they are looking into it, and if certain rules need to be made, or what. Hoping it's just a need for me to just do my photos on weekdays and not weekends.

    11. Fingers crossed!

    12. @animemom Your pics look like so much fun! Eddie should be narrating a gardening tutorial, he looks so enthusiastic about everything.

    13. Thanks. I am hoping they will allow me to continue to use gardens as a background.

Yes, I had brought two other face plates, but it was so hot I just worked with the one.

    14. @animemom well, that one face plate sure made me smile. Eddie looked so enthusiastic and joyful. The pictures you took look so refreshing, I had no idea it was so hot there!

    15. Yes it was 86 on Saturday. If we had gone on Sunday it was only 78. But it also could have rained so we opted for the clear but hot day. When we did catch a cool breeze it was a energy boost. I love going there, so I do hope they will allow me to keep taking photos.

    16. Woohoo! My Spade shipped! Should be here in a few days. ^__^

    19. How exciting!! I haven't seen a lot of Spades so it'll be fun to see what you do with him.
