Does anyone know if Vince dolls can wear female minifee leggings? I’m looking on Etsy for clothes and I have this idea that he’ll wear halagraphic and galaxy leggings and simple black or white tees and tanks. My Steve reminds me so much of my husband that I think he’ll be wearing regular jeans and need tees (with characters like Goofy or superhero’s or vintage like tees with sayings). I might even get some cyber goth pants for steve(like ufo pants with the casual tees lol such a weird combo but it’s what my husband wore in high school and years after)
Hello, and Congratulations @lookame! I have a Vince and think he can wear female Minifee leggings. His legs are very slim, and can wear Resinsoul sized pants. I’ve purchased regular sized msd clothing from Alice’s Collections and they fit Vince really well. I also have a Spade, and he is so much bigger, finding pants has been an issue. I’m looking forward to seeing your guys! Oh, and for shoes that aren’t overly big, the Kish 14” Doll tennis shoes fit perfectly. I think the Tonner Matt shoes fit too. I have a pair on my DC k-02 body, and the feet are the same size. Hope this all helps! If you have any questions, please ask!
Thanks you guys! I do have another female doll who likes the holographic leggings style (she’s a club scene kind of goth girl) so if they don’t fit Vince they may fit her but she’s got some hips so it’s not for sure they’d fit her. Just got an email from Donn with tracking number. Steve is scheduled to arrive on Thurs (the 22)
I was scrolling through patreon when I saw a picture of a hot pink Vince wig..does anyone here own this? I’d love to see pics! I saw it and thought...oh my GOSH that is exactly what my Vince would rock!
True I was thinking i might buy a blank one and paint it...either that or a black one with hot pink, blue and purple.
Woo! That's super exciting! I've got a white Vince wig from one of Donn's scrap sales that he painted with blue highlights and it looks really cool. Hopefully he'll put out some Vince kits in the future.
My husband and I discussed it and he wanted to become a patron for a podcast/youtuber so he’s letting me become a patron for Donn. I think we agreed I’d do the $12 level. It’ll be cool getting to watch the tutorial videos and see the scrap sells. Steve is set to arrive today! Hopefully sooner rather than later
That's awesome @lookame My hubby and I sponsor a podcast as well. The Giz Wiz podcast. We download the weekly video they work on and then watch it on tv with OMG Chad of Minecraft fame and Dick DeBartolo who is a writer for MAD magazine. They talk about gadgets of all kinds. Glad you joined Patreon.
HES HERE! He’s amazing and very upset with me as he has to go without pants/clothes for now. His feet are tiny! Also I was wondering if someone could photograph the headback with the S hook? [/IMG] Is it supposed to look like this? Maybe thi one will work? If not is photobucket no longer supported on DOA? Well the S hood in my other dolls the entire hook in in the head but my Steve the s hook is halfway in his head (well headback)
No most of us use Flickr or Smug Mug. People on our Facebook page have a couple of photos of head backs posted.
Thanks so much animemom! I think I posted a pic there of it but I can’t remember. Lol I’ll go look at the Facebook page
@lookame Please read over this thread regarding changes Photobucket made to it's ToS last year. Unless Photobucket members pay a fee of $399. per year, you can no longer use them to host images and share them to third parties.

@lookame The hook is definitely wrong. The bottom of the s-hook needs to rest inside the ridge not opening. If it won't you can replace s-hook with a very thick stick that will cross over the opening. A dowel cut to straddle the opening. You may need your hubby to help you need a strong shoelace to pull on s-hook and once string is past hole slide that stick in where the s-hook is holding string. If stick has a slight point it will help get it in better. Once stick is in you can remove hook. If you ever need to take head back off just slide shoelace where stick is and pull string and remove the stick. But it should be fine since it's face plates that go on not a full head. If you need a more visual instructions I can do a tutorial on here on a separate thread.
