1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

BJD feature on British TV~

Sep 7, 2006

    1. wow that is amazing! even my parents came and watched this and they dont care about dolls, maybe now they will accept them alittle more <3

hehe i wonder what jonathan thought of them XD

    2. The cult thing was a bit too much, I think. O_o "Worship"?? Psssh, not on your life!! I just like BJDs, but I seriously think of them as dolls. Just dolls, no souls or mysticism involved. Like someone else said, I now realize how not obsessed I am.

    3. ha, i'm at work right now, and i was trying to watch it, but i couldn't here it. anyways, the dolls are so cute.

i loved the part where the girls went out with their dolls.

    4. Apparently we're all creeps :XD:
Ahaha, oh well, it's my money.

    5. That was perfect. n_n

    6. Ive just watched the you tube of this because i clean missed it when it was aired..and i think it was really good...i love Johnathon Ross anyway and theres no way he took the mickey too much...i mean he himself couldnt exactly be described as "normal" so yeah i enjoyed it..thanks for the heads up even if i am a year late lol

    7. I saw this when it was first aired. It was the very first time I had seen BJD's, and I just was gobsmacked at how beautiful thay all were.
I now blame Mr Ross for the fact I'm a lot poorer now than I was this time last year!

    8. Thank you for the link to that video~ I don't believe I've seen it before. It makes me want more dolls! haha

    9. Heh I liked that he linked the reason behind Japan's declining population as being because of dollfies XD! Man that made me want to visit Volks headquarters EVEN MORE when I get to Japan!!

    10. Sorry double post ><

    11. I followed this show I loved it :D.

    12. I liked it, but I can't help but think it's maybe a little inaccurate... they make it seem like it's a cult... ish. Eh. I liked it though x'D

    13. I know this is an old thread, but I just read this and hadn't seen the episode. I found it on YouTube. It's not the whole episode, just the part about dolls. Pretty cool.

    14. Oh, thanks to the bump I just watched the video... it's not even as ignorant and offensive as it usually is with otaku, cosplay and all those hobbies...
I enjoyed seeing that there's many more people "like us" who adore these dolls, and like always, there's much much weirder and creepier hobbies out there xD
