1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

    1. Supa dollfie kawaii!
      That made me giggle XD

    2. Haha. xD That was fun to watch. I wish I could go stay in that super dollfie hotel.

    3. I wish I could stay there too!
      Well...
if I had a doll right now TT____TT
      -pokes bank account-
      Grow I say! GROW!

    4. Thank you for uploading this! That was presented very well, I thought - very pleased with the whole way they tackled the subject (though I wish one of the owners hadn't made that link about 'dolls are good to have if you don't have your own children'. Why should that have anything to do with it?) I thought the doll-meets were great to see, too: it's nice to know that we all seem to share and enjoy our guys in pretty much the same ways, no matter where in the world we are.

Quick question: anyone work out what sculpt was shown in the omukae ceremony at the end, just out of interest?

    5. Looks like an Anais boy to me.

    6. Really? Thanks! Once again, that's very impressive ^____^

    7. missed it but i'm gonna watch it on youtube. ty!

    8. I was wondering the same thing. But o noes, if it is an Anais..Then I think I might be screwed :sweat

    9. i thought anais boy too.. i :aheartbea anais :D

please excuse my ignorance but you know the angels in the ceremoney? well which was the angel who was smiling with their mouth open? :D:D:D:D

    10. woops double post >_<
doa keeps timing out on me >_<

    11. I'll put the link in my first post ^^

    12. The Sei Tenshi don't really have names..Sei Tenshi owners say they sometimes see name cards next to their dolls before they're won, but on the owner's certificate there is never a name on there (at least not with the US ones some of my friends own). Also, Sei Tenshi don't have specific models..there's not like a 'Tsukasa Konoe' of Sei Tenshi, they're all a unique combination of wing color, mold, face up, eye color, and wig color. The best way to refer to them is mostly just with their facial expression, like you did :daisy

    13. ooo ok then :)

wow i really knew nothing about the sei tenshi's

      thankyou so much :aheartbea

    14. I have a little bit more written about Sei Tenshi on my site if you're interested :daisy

    15. Japanorama Series 2 ep 6 Dollfie

Jonathan Ross' Japanorama Series 2 ep 6; The Dollfie portion of the Kawaii Show.... (more)

      on with the link - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wZ15YTuR7yI :)

Ain't that the cutes thing ever ?? "I brang her home" :D awwww :aheartbea and coming from an adult man - charming to bits !! Very cute and good official video about our beloved obsession from A-to-Z.

And do note the "in Japan this is not considered a toy (??)" anyway - go watch !!

    16. I think I'll show this link to people who ask me why I'd get into such a hobby. ;)

    17. I thought that was a really cute video, I wanted to show it to my mom, so maybe she'd understand a bit more about BJDs, but the host guy jokes about BJDs being a "cult." She'd go psycho over that and want to burn my dolls. *is not even kidding* But for people who don't live in the deep, dark, culturally deprived backwoods of NC, I thought that video would be great to show to someone to kind of introduce them to the hobby.

    18. Shizen ; :) oh yeah - just blast 'em high with the vid :D All my msn contacts had a taste of it ;)

Tuvie ; I'm 23 and my mom would strangle me if she knew I ordered a soom gema ... I still need to prepare something to make it more like "a friend from australia had lended her to me for a couple of months" or such. Dark ages here too. As for the cult - you can reply "yeah just like american football, canadian hockey, basell and don't forget - the cult of the evil evil cellphone !! :sweat

    19. Aaaa, doll burning XD;

That was cute :3 I just want to hug Mr. Shigeta... XD I've seen him in person once and was too awestruck to say or do anything intelligent :'D

    20. I love the fact that they acutally TALK about the spiritual side of BJD's. That they aren't just "dolls", but a form of the individual "reborn". I have always beleived that BJD"s contain alot more than just resin. That there is a spiritual side to them. And so many (bjd owners and otherwise) have called me names and made fun of my opinions. Maybe now, those same people will be forced to see that the entire BJD world was created with spirituality, and openmindedness in mind. I also love that for once, they showed MEN who collect BJD's, instead of it always being girls girls girls LOL (no offense to my lovely female friends. LOL) I just really get tired of seeing nothing but girls in vids or stories about BJD's and the history behind them. LOL

watching that video really helped me feel good. :) People have made fun of the fact that i held a REAL wedding/hand-fasting ceremony for my kids, the fact that I treat them as children. I find it wonderful that they show that in Japan, people do the exact same thing. :)
