Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order.   2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.     1. My book arrived here in Baltimore, MD on Friday. The book is very nice and I really love the photographs. I certainly don't regret having purchased it.

      :sweat I'll cancel the stop order first thing Monday morning. I'm pretty sure they haven't processed it yet.

      *UPDATE* Called and cancelled the stop order successfully. Whew...

      I think the mailperson is mad at me for a change. I will direct my goodies to the office for the time being. Woe and whatnot >_>;;;.

    6. yes thats what it will say, I freaked when i saw it and rattled my brain trying to remmeber where I had spent that money since I hadn't went hardly anywhere on my vacation..then my roomie googled it and I found out..hopefully it will come this week!

    7. Yes, it came to me throught USPS. If you are in the US and your mailperson is giving you problems, report them. It's illegal to mess with the mail.

    9. I have a question: In evenstar's faceup tutorail it says "I am creating a dark, smokey faceup on a Kaiwondo IZ head"

      Did KawaiNino change their company name or is this a typo?

      And I've found that a few of the links listed for doll companies in the front of the book are sites that no longer exist :\

    10. I'm sure that, given the fairly long lead time required for print publishing, the sites were updated as well as possible . . . it's impossible for print media to keep up with the speed that things change on the Internet, unfortunately.

      I loved the quality and content of the book -- and I'm looking forward to playing with some of the patterns!

      My only 'complaint' is that I would've loved to have seen some exclusives with a lower price point, but that's mostly because I'm not particularly flush at the moment ;>

      Really nice work by a lot of familiar names -- thanks to everyone who contributed to this project!!

    11. That makes perfect sense. It doesn't answer my question about KawaiNino, though. The KawaiNino website is one of them that's no longer in service, so its possible that they've changed their name to Kaiwando, but I'll have to dig around for confirmation on that one.

    12. You don't know how many times I've called about the mail here XD. I get everything eventually, it's just that sometimes, everyone at the PO takes off and does jack, including the people supposedly in charge of arranging that people don't do that.

      All the nearby POs are tha way, and so is FedEx for that matter.

    16. Yay! I got my book!

      But it came in only a paper envelope with no padding, and it was crammed really hard into my mailbox. So the pages are all curly and the cover is really scratched. The paper envelope says it cost $2.04 to ship. Surely the rest of the 5 bucks or so I paid for shipping could have gone into padding my book....

    18. Same happened to me, mine is really damage, it was folded on half to fit my mailbox and my mailman left the mailbox open and it got wet fom the rain.
      I waited 2 months and then this....
      I hope this doesn't happen with my volks book.

    19. :( thats sad. I value my books very much they are kept in really nice condition if I can help it. My mail box is also not large so I can see me getting one folded to fit in. It should have had a "do not bend" sticker on it and padded and have a card board filler if possible.
