1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Blossom Doll Discussion

Feb 12, 2012

    1. Sorry about the shipping confusion, phanuel. I have had a couple of things delivered by DHL in the past and they can be erratic. Hopefully Blossom Doll will use EMS this time around as they are much more reliable.

I have ordered a fullset Hyacinth and can't wait till she gets here. The company couldn't be nicer to deal with and the have responded very promptly to my emails and questions.

    2. Just got an email from Blossom Doll saying that Molly was sent FedEx, and a tracking number that indicates she may be delivered tomorrow!
I agree that the company is very helpful and communicative.

    3. Yay! So glad everything got straightened out.

      Finally, a comparison pic! *_*

Only the sword hand in the middle is Volks. Others are parts of Blossom girl body.

The yellow normal skin is a close match with Volks pureskin normal.
I think if you want to match Iplehouse peach gold/tan (I don't know which is better matched, you have to ask Blossom), you will have to order tan skin.

    5. Received my Molly fullset this morning!! At first glance, everything looks great and everything is gorgeous. Will post a pic when she is all dressed and coiffed.

    6. That's great, phanuel! Glad to hear she arrived safely!

    7. Thanks, LM! Apart from everything I expected in the full set--face-up, eyes, wig, outfit and shoes--she also came with heel feet and body blushing, plus spare S-hooks and a coupon for any future purchase.
Here is a pic with her in her signature black wig and one with a quite different look:

    8. It's so nice to finally see owner pictures of the dolls from this company! It's amazing that they seems to look every bit as amazing as BD's promotional pictures. Ah, I wish I collected more large dolls, as I am so smitten with their girl heads. Hoping to see more from this company!

      @Phanuel: Congrats on your girl!

    9. Thanks Zabb! Have you seen Blossom Doll's new boy? He looks very nice but I haven't checked to see if they have pics of his body yet. The girls are very tall and thin and I don't know if the boy will be the same.
If you are interested in seeing Molly from more angles, a link to her flickr set:

Edit: There's not much to see about their boy on the site, but there are some nice photos in Blossom Doll's flickr set. They show him with a great body, not skinny, but it may be from another company. His set:

    10. Wow, she is amazing, phanuel! She has the most intriguing face. Now I really can't wait for Hyacinth to get here!

    11. I like the body but it is a bit tricky to dress and photograph. Luckily I have a lot of different sizes in clothing to try on her. And I've been experimenting with ways to photograph her arms so they don't look too stick-like.

    12. I know what you mean, phanuel. The body does seem to be a bit of a departure from the other more standard types of SD-sized bodies. That is part of what attracted me to them. But yeah, it can be a real pain if you don't already have clothes, shoes, wigs to fit them and have to buy a bunch of new stuff. I've got a decent stash of clothes too so I am hoping that at least some of my existing dollie wardrobe will fit Hyacinth. I am a really, really bad photographer so I don't intend to take many pictures of my doll, but I will post a couple on DoA so that everyone can see what she looks like. I don't think there are any other Hyacinth owners on here yet.

    13. Wow, she really does! That is great! Look at that face!

    14. If someone was curious here there's an hybrizidation between my Molly head and Doll Chateau male body, they're both in WS.

    15. Oh. My. I've fallen hard for Molly--head and body. I had a question, though, for the few of you who actually own one of the bodies....

I'm putting together a little troupe of trapeze artists, and Molly's got to be able to pose in crazy positions. Here's an example of what my first girl does. I realize the Blossom torso doesn't have 2 joints like the Resinsoul, so getting the feet up and behind the head is probably out....but is she any better at posing than, say, Doll Chateau? (I own one--they're good for normal-life poses and that's 'bout it).

    16. I haven't tried any extreme poses with my Molly yet,Miss Emily, but I had to break in here to let you guys know that I just got an email from Blossom Doll promoting two new girls that are very intriguing. I'm wondering what you think.

    17. How well does Blossom Doll girl body posses? Their new girl Olanda seems interesting to me :)

    18. I like both of the new girls, I love Olanda lower face - lovely sculpting!

    19. Has anyone tried one of the heads on a dollzone girls body? Does the resin color match to dollzone?

I guess the two new girls heads will be sold separately? I am a bit behind on these dolls!

** Also has anyone tried their girls head on a volks girl body? I see the resin is a match but what about the neck stem ?
