I posted this elsewhere, but I thought I'd post a pic here of Lancer with his... umm... eyeputty cleavage, lol.

He's wearing a Dollmore Model Doll F tank top and an 8-9 Jpop wig in Truffles. =^i^=

 

Eye-putty cleavage?!? I nearly spewed coffee on my computer screen when I read that!

I'm using mostly 9/10 wigs for all my BB boys. To make them fit a tiny bit better I sew darts in them above the ears. But you really do not have to on most well made wigs. I also put a thick size 64 rubber band on their heads first, sometimes two or three. The natural ones do not cause any staining.

 

Sewing the darts shouldn't be an issue as I'm handy with needle and thread. The Cotin site is STILL down and I'm fretting to get a wig off them that I saw that I think will work well for Ryzel since I already know their 8/9 fit nice and snug without turning into the battle of the century to get on. But should I also get the other DZ wig I like, I'll know to order the 9/10 instead.

He looks wonderful and it's okay I am sure my boys have plenty of clothes.

He looks great and I have used the wigs Medusa sells as well as Monique wigs on the boys and silicone wig caps under them all.

He looks great as well. I will have my Waltz paid off in early Feb. Can't wait to see how he figures in the dynamic here.

 

Will be paying off my Waltz in early Feb. Hope he arrives on V-Day would make for an awesome story line.

Ok, someone help out the math challenged dingy gal here. What size would a standard 1/3 scale BJD room be if it was in a standard 1/3 scale house? How tall, wide, deep?

Hey, I said I was math challenged didn't I?

 

Well, math-wise I am challenged too. But I figure if you're going to scale it, you'd be looking at an average human home's room with 8 foot ceilings and scale down (divide by 3) so that would make your boy's room 2.66 feet tall. Most human bedrooms are in the 12x12 range, so the BBD room would be 4x4. I don't have enough room in my house for a 4x4 foot room just for BJDs!

My boys currently reside on a big wall of bookshelf. The shelves are deep enough to have BJD sized chairs, or BJD doll stands. I do have a bunkbed for the boys, but it resides in another place. The bookshelf came from Staples... not expensive.

 

And a high five on the Staples bookcases. I have 4 sets of them double stacked that I use as display rooms. And your measuring thing makes much more sense than anything I came up with. I'm a great one for ideas but get really wonky on execution.

So it looks like I can do 4 rooms (kitchen, livingroom, two upstairs bedrooms) on one wall and then the bathroom and a upstairs bedroom on the adjoining wall. Really wanted to get in a garage under the kitchen for the Harleys.

The big problem is going to be standing on a step ladder to get to the second floor for furniture arranging and the depth of the rooms. My arms are only so long!

Just time for a quick update. Amazing Medusa worked though a bad back to get my Waltz done and on his way home. He should be here by Fri with luck.

I have a room just for the dolls and I have a total of 8 cube units from Target lined up 2 deep along one wall in room where all their stuff is stored in bins of all kinds. I also have a room theme going but can change it easy to do my pics. I will take pics of that end of room once it looks okay. Right now a bit messy.

I've got a friend's Waltz this week, to play with. Which was the other thing that tipped me to get mine paid off early.

A Valentino Valentine for Valentine's Day?! What could be better!!! You will adore this sculpt. He's a bit more mature than Waltz or Draven. More like their big brother. That's why I like him sooooo much.

I bought it off the Cool Cat site. Great price, dead reasonable shipping and the wig itself fits really well and is wonderfully soft. I was supposed to cut it as Ryzel has butt-length hair but its so beautiful, I can't quite make myself do that.
