    1. If you look towards the end of the Bobobie database there are another set of owner pics with a different style from Winky's doll (which is cool to see--I love seeing how different the same sculpt can end up turning out in the hands of various owners).

    3. That is EXACTLY why I dislike the body. The other bodies look beautiful and human like. This body looks like they were working on a very tall msd boy, saw xmas was coming and literally slapped two boobs too low on the chest and padded out the butt.

      I was one of the peeps who kept pestering Dennis for a 50cm body because I felt the sculptors he has could've done a fantastic job looking at the other bobobies.

      This body has got me asking, has the sculptor even looked at a female human nude before? The way the boobs and butt are so detached from the body just horrifies me and makes me wonder why Dennis thought ANYONE would want such a thing.

      He asked for suggestions and he fixed the LEAST of this doll's problems which were the hands.

      I'm very disappointed in this rushed body, which was rushed for the holidays and to capitalise on the xmas holiday frenzy. Blah.

      I'm a big modder at heart, but the amount of modding and materials needed to fix this body up would just be too much and just make this 'affordable' body into an expensive thing.

      Also, look at the knee and elbow joints! If they were separate from the lower limbs the doll would have so MUCH posability and that burns me up the most. There was no reason to actually stick those joints onto the limbs.. Look at the 60cm knees! Blah, seems very rushed the 50cm body.

      I'm very disappointed and saddened about the entire thing, because I thought "Yay! A 50cm body made BY Bobobie~!:D" and what do we get? A misproportioned, badly articulated body who seems to be a badly modded boy body turned girl.

      I seriously, seriously hope bobobie release another 50cm body that looks MUCH better than this body because unless they do, I'm spending my hardearned cash somewhere else.

    4. OK, well- have you seen the 68/70 cm ones? They are gorgeous and more than make up for Luna. To me, she looks like an abstract art type doll and maybe not supposed to be realistic (???). I actually like the hands and the head. I like thicker bodies and elf ears, so I would not buy her, anyway. There are people who like the more oddball looking dolls who might like her. I want one of the 68 cm girls- Lian with the elf ears.

    5. Luna clearly isn't for everyone and that is just fine. She is abstract and there are some real strange details there, but I like her and am going to get one. I think Winky's version and the version in the database show Luna is versatile as well as -- unusual. Everyone can't love everything, but I don't think doing something wild and brave will hurt Bobobie, they are being adventurous, it shows they are secure.

    6. She kind of looks like a porcelain doll to me, actually... I think if I got her, I'd get her in white skin, and maximize on that aspect of her, try to make her look as antique doll as possible.

    7. I kind of agree with that assessment. To me it seems that they are trying something different and trying to be more detailed with the body. Now some of those details did not come out as well as they could have, but I can appreciate the fact that they tried and am curious to see where they will go from here. And of course, a feature that one person can't stand may not bother someone else and most people aren't going to love every sculpt a company has to offer anyway.

      I'm not upset or frustrated with them for not getting everything right this time around, and actually find that there is something intriguing about Luna. Like many of their other sculpts, I find that there is something about her that grabs me. Unless a particular flaw goes completely against the character I have in mind, a body with imperfections isn't necessarily a deal breaker for me. I wish I had the cash to go ahead and order one, but unfortunately, I'm going to have to wait.

    8. hmmmmm, i think she is very strange. she "is" quite abstract, and i think attempts at making her look realistic emphasize the awkwardness of the sculpt. i have a few BBB dolls, and like them quite a bit, but i can't understand what she is meant to be. i find the body quite unsettling, the breasts, and buttocks are extremely unnatural, i just don't "get" her at all. (just my opinion )

    9. Call me crazy, but I'm not seeing the 'abstract' here. Really, the proportions remind me of the anime drawings I did when I was 11, and, considering that I had no idea how the human body went together back then, that's not saying much. Those breasts aren't situated correctly on the chest, the neck tendons look downright creepy, and that behind does not resemble any behind I have ever seen anywhere on any member of the animal kingdom.

      That being said, it's nice that you like her and want to get her! :)

    10. Abstract or not, I do hope Bobobie comes out with a LESS 'abstract' and more reality orientated body in the future.

      EDIT: Pumibel, I'm utterly, UTTERLY in love with bobobie's 68/70cm bodies but they're just too big for me! I mean heck, most of my guy dolls are 56-58cm tall and I already think they're big enough. I was really hoping for a shrunken-down sized 60/68cm girl body or a enlarged 43cm body to be used as the 50cm body... Because those sculpts are perfect for me. Luna just makes me cry.

    11. Okay I got my Luna now. Only things I would say are not good are her breasts upper part (like in pics, she's really having angle over her breasts...), kicky legs (at least for now she has been really kicky, but I have got her standing straight from box :) ) and strange elbows. Otherwise I love her pretty much! <3 Her hand and feet are so cute! And the face is just so perfect for the character she is coming. <3 Her abs look better IRL in my opinion, also her butt doesn't look like monkey one. xD It's kinda cute. :3

      I just had to come and tell since I am SO EXITED and she is SO CUTEEEE! x3 I think I am falling now... <3

      Hopefully I will take pics later.

      The character is not really sexual one and her style is countryish so I don't really mind. I have another body, I will propably change her breasts a little, depending if she fits what head.

      I also got 68cm body, it's awesome too! <3

      Next time bobobie, please no angles over breasts, it should be smooth with so big breasts, even if you are an athletic woman. ;) thanks for making her anyway, I love her! ^___^

    13. I got my wee ones last week. True to my word, I ordered two. :lol: The body's got flaws, to be sure, but I love the little thing in spite of them. Besides, the hobbyist in me is almost chomping at the bit to try out some things-- to be quite honest, there are probably chances I'm willing to take with a $110 body that I never would have considered with one of my other more expensive ones.

      I've encountered a different kind of problem, though. I ordered the bodies without heads. Now I've got to find a head that'll fit. *_* SD-sized heads are too big; I tried the NaNuRi '07 head, the tiniest SD head I could get my hands on, and it was too big. I've tried a couple of MSD heads, and they're too small.

      Aside from the actual Luna head, has anyone found a head that fits proportionately?

    14. I have tried several heads on her and if it's MSD it's gotta be big headed one as you said. My twing-key looked stupid on it, but tintan looked okay with wig. I still got to mod the neck to fit, but to me it seemed okay. I can be sure when I have modded the neck, it was too thick. SD heads were big, but propably some heads with 8-8,5' heads/wigs would be good since Lunas is that size. I was planning to put Soony head on the body, but you can guess it failed. xD

      So maybe Musedoll Ciel or Elfdoll heads would fit? I don't have any myself so I cannot compare, I just know they're small SD heads.

    15. I don't think the body is so odd. :3 I'm kind of glad that they made a body in this size.

      I would really like to know what heads would fit her as well. I think Corbidoll might have a couple? I don't know about the resin match though...

    16. Seeing the owner pictures.. I probably won't get a Luna, but I have hopes they'll improve the body. There seems to be a trend of that in different sizes with BBB, so I don't mind at all. I figure it's a starting point, y'know?
