Bobobie Christmas Doll: 50cm Luna doll

I can take comparison with MNF head when mine arrives (January propably) but her head size is definitely SD so it might look weird with MNF head. Really big MSD heads might be better though?

 

She seems to be inbetween the two sizes....
I suspect that she will steal my MSD's shoes and clothes and share the wigs and eyes with both sizes....I'll do a fashion show when mine gets here. I have both SD and MSD size girls right now so we will see.
Mine has not shipped yet so it may be awhile. Bang for buck she is going to be a good doll but I still think her boobs look like they are stuck on. She looks great dresses thou....

 

Please fix this.


I'm all for artistic interpretation of the human body. But there's no reason to give a doll a monkey butt.

 

I think there is room for improvement. But I think she has potential. Someone out there loves her =]

Her neck looks 30 years older than the rest of her and the breasts are very low for their shape.

 

I've been hoping I'd have good things to say about her final form and have been mulling her over since the owner photos, but I don't.
I like her size and still like her legs, but that's about it. Her body is so inhuman. Her bottom, bust and neck are so strange. It really ruins the esthetic for me unless I were looking to have an alien doll. Though with Bobobie's resin colors, an alien isn't necissarily out of the question.

It goes to show that rushing a project produces an inferior product. With a little more effort and a lot more research in regards to human antomy, this body could turn out very well.

Owners- How is posing? I'm curious.

EDIT: Actually, the more I think about, she would be absolutely adorable in green with little antenae just as she is.

 

I think both face and head are supposed to be very stylised - like a living anime doll. Her breasts really do look like beachballs stuck on, but I'm pretty sure that's intentional. I'm more worried by the odd shoulderblades and the way you can see her vulva from behind, to be honest.

She doesn't appeal to me personally at all, and she's nowhere near being on my wishlist, but I can see some potential in her. Distinctly terrifying as her breasts look nude, I think they'd display nicely in, say, a tiny sailor school uniform.

I don't know. I feel about her the same way I do about Dollfie Dreams, or the mega-busted obitsu - I can see the point of them looking the way they do, but I still don't like them.

 

autumnrain: I agree, the breasts are pretty terrifying. They are very round, but are also very low so it's confusing. Dollfie Dream's big round boobs are in the right place for ones wearing a good push-up bra. Or possibly post-boob job. But Luna's are...eery.

The original chest sculpt was so much better, why did they change it! If she had the original chest sculpt, I would strongly consider buying her in that lovely tan colour Bobobie do. But the new strange dents in the neck and new low spherical boobs ruin her for me.

 

Aww why change her boobs?? I liked the way the were the first time, I would so buy her if they kept her original boobs......

 

lol, I wish I had the guts to say all this, I'v been wanting too really. I TOTALLY AGREE with everything said up here. Sometimes I think its just me, I like anatomy and 'anime' is NO excuse to butcher it up.
By now I'v seen some owner pictures, and its allot worse then I thought too. her face ... just ew come one ,you guys know where eyes are suposed to be, her mouth yeez this whole doll is out of proportion

BBB please, you guys can do so much better, this isn't good publicety. Also get rid of the painted promo picturer, ppl do NOT deside on a drawing to draw a materialised object.

 

Some of it could be due to the very different conditions the photos were taken in, but I think there were some actual changes made to the chest part.

Here's a side by side. I forgot to censor it so photobucket will take it down soon, I'll make a new one with censors when they do.



1- Cleavage has disappeared completely.
2- Breasts seem to have shrunk a fair bit.
3- This bit is hard to tell due to lighting, but the neck does seem to have been gouged into. Look at the top of the neck especially.
4- Also hard to tell due to lighting, but she seems to have new dents.

I guess our only option for 50cm girls is Zaolls since the Luna body has just too many probems.

I think he should have gotten the Resinsoul sculptor to make it, the Resinsoul bodies are very nice.

 

I'm fine with the image being shared if the owner of the Luna on the right is. I forgot to ask her permission to make this comparison. Sorry Winky >_<

 

I asked Dennis and there is no differencies made to the body, it's just flash and shadows I think. I will see myself when I will get mine, it should be shipped out soon.

 

I am sorry to say that, but the body has just TOO many problems+ her legs are too short to be the girls legs... Sorry, but she looks like a transvestite with silicone boobs.
