1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Bobobie Ophelia ~My Critique :) (Nudity)

Apr 11, 2007

    1. All I know is that I have my Weros in SD13 shoes, and he fits into a pair of Luts boy shoes I have better then Mikel does. XD It's mostly width that fills out the shoes on the Bobobie feet, not length.

    2. thanks Anrui! I'm guessing SD13 shoes should fit then? I hope so, I just bought a pair to encourage me to buy a bobobie girl. going to buy a full doll incase the body won't fit my elfdoll head.... and if it doesn't, oh well.... i'll just have to keep a whole new resin girl ;)

    3. My girl body is here! I really like her! The resin is smooth as glass, no seams anywhere. She poses well right out of the box. I got the NS and I like it. Not too pink, not washed out either. Her fingers are long and graceful, sort of like Elfdoll, but more bent/curved. Her feet are big, but not ugly. She has long toes. I measured her foot, it's 70mm, so she should be able to wear Elfdoll shoes, and I've seen shoes at Dollmore that will fit. All in all, I'm very pleased and I will be ordering from Bobobie again! :)

    4. Has anyone tried Luts senior delf shoes for girl? Maybe they would fit her bigger feet? :)

Those are so pretty mmm, might get some myself too. ^____^
Thanks for everyone who has posted pics! It's really nice to see!

    5. I bought a SD Bobobie body and a Pixie girl from BJDollmall.. and I like both the bodies...the belly thing is called "Belly pop" and its a Dollshe thing...I am trying to sell my SD body as it doesn't match my CP head at all...but with my Pixie I wired her legs and arms..and I also used a piece of plastic armature in the abdomen area and it helped the belly popping immensely. I did this for my hound also and it stops his infamous belly popping

you can find the at Antina's and most doll making sites for cloth dolls

    6. I found that with the bobobie bodies, hot glue sueding does the trick for the belly-pop, and for the weird knee thing they do. If you can't bear to hot glue suede, then i recommend having their legs loosely strung, if they're too tight, they tend to kick up, and standing is impossible!

    7. I have my Bobobie girl in a pair of SD13 girl shoes for high-heeled feet and they actually fit. A bit tight, but they fit pretty darn well. ^^ They're the white slingback wedges.

    8. For those of you who do mods with a dremel, can you tell me exactly which bit you use to do it? If you can give me a parts number, etc. that would be helpful. Or post a picture of it. I have a dremel but it has about 20 different bits. Thanks!

    9. @ Anrui Ukimi:

I just wanted to thank you for your critique of Ophelia. Because of it, I was able to confidently order her as my first doll, and the pictures you posted sans wig really helped me to see if her face was really the sculpt I wanted. I realize that this thread is crazy old, but I saw it about 3 years ago, and when I finally decided the time had come to buy my own doll, I knew Ophelia was the girl for me!

      So thanks again!

    10. It was helpful to me, too. I ordered her today <3
