Left to right: Neo-Angel Region Ren/Dollzone hybrid in old NS. Resinsoul Bei in Light Tan (which since BBB does casting for both it's the same shade) BBB Isabella in white skin and then RS Song in Normal Skin.

Thank your posting the picture, Arisha Uchiha. Seeing the different skin tones right next to each other makes it easier compare. I do agree she is a NS. After seeing your Bei in LT, I do like that skin tone and will consider it for the future.

I did get a better picture. Last Isleen spam until I get better at taking photos of her.

 

Hmm... My Ni's new 14mm eyes arrived today, only for me to realise all of her eyes looked stupid with massive gaps because her eye holes are made wrong! Her right eye has not been drilled enough and the resin there is very thick, giving her massive gaps. I ordered carving tools that should come tomorrow and I'll give her better eye holes, even the left eye is super thick.

 

@babs64 Definitely go for an LT doll at some point, the resin's really beautiful in person too.

The good news is, 14mm is a perfect fit! I really like the new eyes I got her, they're blue with glittery stars in them. She's got her proper eyes, now I just need to find a way to keep her wig on, the white one she wore in her box opening pictures was just temporary. All the nice wig makers I know are in the US, and seem to charge over £10 for shipping. I'm not paying that much when the wig is £5-8!

 

Check ebay. I got Gene's wig there as well as Avery's. You can find Liv wigs on there for a good price or the 5-6 ones. Most I've seen offer free shipping too.

 

<2 hours of modding later> Almost done! Just some finishing touches and sanding now. I'm pretty sure I removed enough resin to make another doll from her sockets, RS really did a shoddy job on that one. Decided to keep her 12mm in as it would take a lot of careful work to have the 14mm fit and I don't want to risk thinning the resin too much. I will mod her eye openings a little as well!

 

Sorry to hear the job on her wasn't the same quality RS usually has. >: I am glad to hear your making her work though. I wish ya luck.

 

I am considering a March. DDE has her in stock in Sky Blue. Would anyone with sky blue March or other BBB/RS doll be willing to post a picture? I'd like to know just how intense the sky blue really is.

 

Oh I don't have a sky blue BBB/RS but whenever I see them they are gorgeous!

It's 6.00 am here and still dark - but I'll go out later today and take a few snaps of Lark, my sky blue RS Bao.

Edit: Here's Lark - short for Larkspur, but he prefers to think he's a bird, apparently...



This is indoors, with a flash. As you can see, he's a big greyish blue. It's a very pretty colour, though.

(He's wearing a really, really old Ken top that I think actually came with one of my Ken dolls in the 1970's. LOL!!)

 

Lark's such a cutie! Loving that blue resin, such a gentle shade, easy on the eyes. Loving that curly wig too. >w<

(And thank you for the compliment. I'm so glad it fits her. The skirt doesn't fully close but I'm okay with that.)

And he's taller than Vala. Who is not happy about that. At all. Avery's glad to have her twin back though.

 

Anticipation is killing me. Denver Doll has shipped my sky blue March. Happy birthday to me! I am not sure what her name is going to be yet. In my mind, she is very girly, girl compared to Isleen. However, they are going to be BFs.

Another one of the twins playing with some tsum tsums I bought today.

 

Any suggestions on where to find dress shoes for my girls? Miane (formerly March) just turns up her nose at tennis shoes. I'd love to find some mary janes or ballet slippers for her. Right now, DDE has a very limited selection that fit and I don't like the available colors. Any other sources? Thanks.

Hello all. I've been wanting a Bao for ages now but never ordered one because he did not have a character. That changed and so I just ordered on from JS. He is going to be a fire djinn type of creature. He is going to be dyed. I have lots of plans for him, though still trying to decide on his name.
