I decided to splurge on bonbon's new limited honey pomelo body in mia pink! I'm hoping to hybrid it with my myou girl, who's in myou pink. From my own tests it seems like both tones are a pretty good match, so here's hoping the body plan works out! I chose layaway with AC so it's gonna be a bit of a wait, haha
Exciting @Dreamverie ! I think Myou pink is a little bit lighter, but with a head it's barely noticeable (and you can always blush to match)
How does their normal compare with mia pink? I recently got their coconut body in mia pink and it's really quite pink (more than my other mia pink dolls and even more than dd semi white). So looking at their resin color example swatch it seems like their normal is less pink, but probably a bit darker than mia pink? (I would like to use one of their bodies with a more yellow leaning mia pink artist head)
I don't have a good direct comparison photo, but their normal is ever so slightly darker than mia pink... I think the mia pink (and white) formulations changed a bit this year, though (I've seen bodies and parts being offered in "new Mia pink" and "new Mia white") so perhaps that's why your body's colour is a bit different. Maybe this can help a bit: the feet here are BBG normal (next to a Huajing normal neck protector) and here's a Mia pink hand next to the same neck protector sample. The lighting lies a bit, though, because BBG normal is not that yellow-toned at all in real life... but in any case, since Mia pink is a tad lighter, it'd be a very easy difference to blush to match, if meaningfully noticeable at all.

I was thinking of buying one with the head and modifying it to be similar to Ram.cube's cat sculpts (which I adore, but they only come in 1/3 size) My lychee body is going through customs right now!! I think I want to hybrid her with a 44cm Amadiz head, but I'm not sure if it will work out proportionally.

Just received a shipping notice on the previous new boy body (fresh coconut) I ordered last year earlier today so that should arrive, according to Alice's Collections, sometime between "2 weeks and 2 months or more". I'm excited to get them (I ordered two) whenever they decide to show up then
The email I got said that the "delivery time is unstable" then gave me that estimate. I'm also waiting for a Nendoroid since November and their site states that "We are currently experiencing significant shipping delays due to disturbances around the Suez Canal" so likely it has to do with that. 2 weeks - month has been pretty normal shipping speed to my country (Finland) so I'm not like terribly worried about it yet. If you meant for how quickly they create their dolls I placed this order in early September so it's been bit over 4 months before I got the shipping notice and that seems to be pretty average wait time for them as that's what Alice's told me when I asked about the wait time.
So my bonbon galaxy lychee 1.0 body was delivered! Upon opening it and comparing it to images of the 2.0 body, it seems the biggest difference is that the torso and calves of the 1.0 body are stylistically lengthened, which I did not realize when I ordered it. The body is significantly lighter than my LUTS kid delf body, which is a similar height. I think the main difference is the amount of resin used- the bonbon galaxy pieces have more hollow space than the kid delf. The resin is matte, and all the joints move smoothly and hold poses well. The only sticking point is that the thigh mobility joints are a bit slide-y and fall out of place with minor manipulation. Having seen it in person, I would opt for a newer version of this brand's body rather than the 1.0. I wish their bodies were available for longer periods of time. The short release windows are difficult to work around on a budget.
So the estimated delivery time I got was weeks but my bodies are already in the country and I paid the taxes for them earlier so they'll likely arrive between Wednesday and Friday this week I'm obviously not complaining, just pleasantly surprised by how fast they moved after all.
oooh, that's exciting! I still have to pay off my final layaway til i receive any info for my body. Maybe there's hope that alice will ship it fast for me, but i'm happy to wait if not ^^
