Brava Bambi (Bambicrony) Discussion Part 1

Have you guys seen the new Brava Bambi event head, Katherine?

She is available during Bambicrony's 4th Anniversary Event, for spending at least $300. You can choose tan, peach puff or floral white skin, and you can also purchase a faceup separately, if desired.

 

I saw her, she has a bit of an older Toto look, doesn't she? That dress she's wearing is so cute too, I must try and resist buying it! XD

 

Yoon was kind enough to tell me to wait to order my tan Ellen because of the sale that was starting on Thursday. I've been waiting to see pictures of Katherine and Mae. I was a little surprised when I saw Katherine last night. She looks so sad! I almost wish I could trade out the Katherine head for a Sunday. Now I can't decide whether to get Katherine and Mae in tan or peach puff. I'd love to get a body for them now, too, but I have to draw the line somewhere, lol. I can see how these adorable dolls are so addicting!

 

I haven't played with my Sunday/Soubrette in a while so we had a little photo shoot. This was my favorite from the bunch.

I love the Katherine event head, but I've already thrown a lot of money at Impldoll to get their free event tiny... I cannot justify buying from BC, too! And I'm not sorry that I bought my Isabelle when I did -- she was the last Isabelle, and had I waited for the event, somebody might've snatched her up before me!

Well, I did it! I finally ordered Ellen. I got her in tan and then ordered a Katherine head and a Mae head both in peach puff. It is so difficult to tell what color to get. I really love everyone's pictures of the tan dolls, but Mae looks like she is made for peach puff. I just hope I don't see pictures of Katherine in tan and wish I had gotten her in tan also.

 

Weeeell I guess I'll just join this thread here, and see you guys talk about Bambicrony. I'm in love with Tan skin Ellen, but I can't get her until my birthday in two months. It's killing me a little on the inside.

I understand the pain Bad! I was fortunate because my birthday was the 3rd so I could get her. Still I went way over on the budget. I'm thinking she will be my present for my birthday and Christmas and Valentine's Day and.......I was waivering between Emily and Ellen in tan and it was all the gorgeous pictures here of Ellen that made me know she was the one.

If you could swing it, you could always put her on layaway. That way you could take advantage of the sale and get maybe one or two extra heads that you could sell if you didn't care for them.

Thanks DancingBee! It will still be a while until I see her in person since I put her on layaway. I feel better, though, knowing she is mine and I got her before she sold out.

Im STILL waiting for my Tan ellen. (shes on her way though) Now theres the event head AND the larger bust option... this will be my first Bambi doll and i was a little torn at first cause i'm not totally into how child like their bodies are but now they have the option of a larger bust. I don't need 2 though. and since shes a brava and tan i dont know if i would beable to sell the smaller bust to anyone. Does anyone know if the $210 is for a whole body or just the bust? ugh... why must doll companies always release things i want AFTER i make a order haha

But I'm afraid that it'll be harder to find clothes that fit for larger breast.
A friend of mine who has larger breast MSD size doll always have problems with clothes.

 

I agree, I'm pretty sure the $210 is for the whole body. I would prefer the larger breast as well. Since I just placed my order yesterday I thought about seeing if I could change my Ellen's body, but since I got the full set, I'm wondering if the dress that she comes with would fit on the larger breast body.

I still need to eventually get a body for Katherine so maybe I'll just let her have the larger breasts. I hope it doesn't look odd with the two togther.

I love the new photos of Katherine modeling the new outfits. I wasn't sure about her at first, but now I think she is adorable, too.

Oh I didn't realise they'd made a larger bust. I can see why you'd want that for something like an Ellen, she has an older look. My Emily is meant to be ten, so she can stick with the small bust. XD It still looks a bit odd on that body though to me.

 

ya you guys are right. the clothes may not fit the large bust. i really dont want a whole extra body laying around haha.. oooh well im sure i ll really like my doll as she is, as soon as i see her.

 

Oh no!!!! I want that large bust for my incoming Ellen... Do you guys think they would give my fullset Ellen that bust if I asked? I'm not worried about the dress fitting her, as I plan to give it to a different doll.
