2) No tiny dolls
3) No floating heads
4) Never sell a doll
5) No impulse buys
6) No anthros
7) Limit to 10 dolls

I've broken all these and probably more that I have forgotten about. Oh well...who cares?

 

I said that...

I would never pay more for a doll or an outfit more than my monthly rent. Failed by buying Full Choice system and failed when I started buying all the BTSSB Volks outfits.

 

Promised my husband I would just get one (Isao): FAILED.
At the time, I totally meant this, cause you know, who'd want to spend so much money...

Promised my husband I would only get one girl (DES): FAILED.

Said I would never get anything smaller than SD size: FAILED.
In my defense, my kid delf was a partial gift.

Tiny on the way.

Said I would never pay more for their shoes than I do for my own: FAILED.

I said I'd never have an SD-turns out I can't even really bond with MSDs besides Kid Delfs so I have mostly SDs now!

Have only Boys . I have 3 girls and am looking at a 4th.

Buy only the clothing/shoes/wigs I need. Well I need 3 drawers of spare wigs and 8 drawers of clothing don't I???

No Anthros, no Tinies, No Puki's. So all 3 are on my wishlist.

Never buy a doll that costs over $1000 Lee Jun Ki-C is being shipped out on 9/11

 

I said I would never sell things I made. Never ever, I hate selling the things I make, I get bored too easily, too much pressure to keep stuff in stock, blah blah. FAILED! I gotta get doll money somehow.

 

1. I would just get one. Already broken, as I got my second a week after my first.

2. I wouldn't spend more than 400$ on any doll. Not broken. :3

3. I wouldn't buy more than one wig for a doll. Looking at several more for Brodie as we speak..

4. I wouldn't keep boxes and packaging around. Too late. :3

5. I wouldn't mess with body/head replacement. I'm looking at bodies for brodie as well.

 

My list of 'I'll never':

"One doll is enough for me. I wont buy another..ever"
Now I have two msd sized, one petite and one tiny.... and atleast five more to come.

"I'll only take him/her to meet-ups with me, nowhere else.."
Now I want to drage them along pretty much every where I go. To work, japanese lessons, to grandmas' palce whenever I visit her...

Dollzone Hong, with 72cm body is on my list of 'Dolls I'll buy' -list.

I said I would never sell any of my dolls or heads. I sold my DIM sleeping cloud head to someone on DOA. I however was the one who initiated the deal, and I think we are both happier because of it.

Kane~ I'm sorry I haven't bonded with my AS Cain, so that promise is broken and he's for sale.
*I'd put away half my paycheck and use the other half for books.
FAIL. 3/4 went to dolls and the other 1/4 to books. Bank account =

Fail. Kane was my victim. Went pretty well - I actually like restringing now.

Again Broken - Kane was again the victim, but I actually like this part now too. Only, don't let me do boys. XD Girly faces are more up to my par.

...I'm selling my DZ Megi after less than two months of ownership

...That was before I saw a light tan Nissa that wouldn't stop staring at me

I told myself that I would stick with Dollzone, B&G and Abio Angel
....I'm saving for a DIM Ace, considering B&G SD Elves, and getting Luts and Fairyland dolls. I have no desire to buy any Dollzones or AA's.

....That was before I found out I sucked at doing face-ups

Own more than one of each size. I have 3 SDs + 2 heads and a tiny now. XD
And I definately want more SDs!

 

I said I would never do an impulse buy. I did two.

I said I was going to get my character dolls first. Instead I've not got a wishlist of dolls I wanted and have constructed their OWN story without them even being here yet.

I said I'd never have anything bigger than an MSD- at least half of my In The Works dolls are SD or larger.

I promised my mom I wouldn't get more until I grad'd college (in three years O.o) but that probably won't last.

 

1. Never get a BJD, they're too expensive! (I've been promised my first by Christmas...)

2. Never get anything but Tinies. (Oh, Bluefairy Emilie, you will be mine!)

3. No anthro dolls. (Now I want one to imitate the cat I lost, tragically, about 4 years ago)

4. Don't buy/make anything for a doll I don't have yet, with the exception of a doll already paid for. (Um... I started crocheting a sweater for my Bluefairy today... she's not ordered yet, of course.)
