Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. ok let me break it down to you guys....

      There is NO option for skin color, he is what he is.
      He is 70cm, would fit hound,dollmore model doll and dollzone 70cm boys clothing.
      His arms consist of upper arm, lower arm and hand, there is no separate ball joint in the hand
      Only the dream of doll girl hands will fit the girl buddydolls because the boy buddydolls are 70cm and the boy dream of dolls are 60 cm
      He is NOT double jointed

    2. I have a question for owners of any male Buddy dolls. Is the problem of the thigh socket not fitting quite right and slipping all over the place from the hip joint present? It's a major part of the reason I am selling my Buddy doll girl. I will miss her, but I will not miss those crazily twisting legs! I hope they have improved this for their male body.

    5. That new hand is a definite improvement...before, they had the middle finger
      slightly flipping out there....what was up with that? (The guy had a nervous twitch
      I guess :? ....heh). But now it looks more natural with the index finger protruding.
      Hmm.....I'm edging closer and closer to getting this bod.

      My only hesitation is that it won't match Minimee...looks like it could though, Minimee
      matches Dollshe and Dollshe is rather pale just like Buddydoll - from the looks of these
      pix. Ohhhh might have to take the plunge...Uneide, I might be contacting you soon! :lol:

    6. So, what do people think of the new "Mars Tough"?
      He looks way more adult than the previous very young looking Mars, which is nice, I think.

    7. I really, really liked the young looking Mars. But I have to say I like the Tough one more. ;) I can't wait to see owner pics. Too bad Buddydolls aren't as popular. Don't see much of them around! :(

    9. We're carrying them at Featherfall now. Just so people know - Buddydoll is having a 1-1 promotion -- you buy a doll and you can get a free head ( they list which apply to which dolls) .

      So, if you can't pick between Mars and Mars - Tough, you can buy one and get the other head with the different faceup. ;)

    10. Absolutely LOVE Mars, hope to make him my first BJD :D Tough is nice but I prefer the.. uh.. not-so-tough version XD

      I'm a little nervous about dollmore clothes fitting him - can anyone comment on that? Mostly the pants, as the dollmore model boys are so skinny, and Mars seems to have a bit thicker leg ^^;

      Also some more pictures of Mars for anyone interested, I asked and I did receive!

    11. ^_^ We have them here in the store -- and I have to say, I fell in love once I saw him with the faceup. Completely makes his personality!
      As for clothes -- hmm, he fits the Dollzone ones ( and they have large butts and thighs- with only minimal room to spare. AND his calves are actually pretty thick, so I'm not sure he'd manage to get into the Dollmore ones.. :(

      I'll ask some of our local dollowners if anyone had DOllmore clothes though, and I can test them on him. ;)

    13. Just a comment on the clothes - I have a BD body at home for my minimee and Marsh here on DOA made a pair of leather pants for him that are a snug *perfect* fit, just FYI :)

      I saw in your LJ link you used the BD body for Gackt? Ironically I was thinking of buying Mars to make my own Gackt doll LOL I missed the minimee, but with a custom faceup I think Mars's head will suit.

    16. Oh I could see that working :) Mars is a gorgeous sculpt, I've done quite a bit of drooling over that boy myself ;) The body is certainly very smexy, I'm very impressed with it so far ^__^

    17. If you don't mind me asking - how is its poseability? I remember reading concerns that it wouldn't be able to stand as well but it seems like it holds up just fine from the images I've seen (not including the ones Buddydoll did themselves XD)

    18. So far I really love the body, he's a little kicky, but that will probably loosen up with time, that's probably the only issue with standing atm that I can see. He's definitely more stable than my Dollshe boy...

      And I just finished painting him and blushing the body lastnight (he's not ready for his unveiling just yet, still a few details to work out :P) But I'm almost there :)

      When are you planning to get your boy? ^^

I'm not too sure exactly, I'd love to find some more clothes that would fit before I order him (can't access the Marketplace yet :( soon though!) but I'll probably order him with the Mars outfit anyway. I know I'll order him before the end of February, as I really want that extra head - a friend of mine Photoshopped some faceups for me and I'm psyched :D

      And I am stalking your LJ :3 LOL
