Buying a Doll Because of Fetish

I have a huge lip fetish! (as in fetish of "huge lips" lol!)! I've been dying to get a Soom Dia and a Feeple65 Chloe because I can't resist their lips!! ^3^

 

hooves or just oddities on a doll. like DC alberta and DZ carter and renata. i think dolls like those are just fabulous.

 

I love smiling dolls. If they are smiling then I must have them. I also love dolls with glasses. But my biggest one is smiling dolls.

 

I think the biggest one for me is long, slender legs eue i see a doll with nice legs i really enjoy looking at them (and hopefully owning some in the future ;v; )

 

I've found that I certainly have aesthetic preferences and style of dress. However it seems to work the other way - I'll get a doll and put them in my preferred styles, rather than having a preferred style convince me to buy a new doll regardless of anything else about the doll.

 

I definitely like my dolls to look 'attractive' to me, as well as what they wear. I like slightly androgynous boys with wide mouths and a bit of an 'evil' look to their eye (more the almond/long-and-narrow eyes than big, wide eyes). I like younger girl dolls in cute outfits, uniforms, and anthros... These are all things that I'm also 'into'. :P

 

I think for me, the most obvious thing would be elf ears. While I don't fall in love with every pointy-eared sculpt out there, I have passed over "normal"-eared sculpts with the thought of "That would be so pretty with elf ears!"

Also, I love dolls with a bit of a smirk. Especially male dolls. My beloved Andruthen (AoD Jimi) has just a hint of a smirk at the right angle, but can look pensive or annoyed at different angles and I love that because it suits his character. And I'm getting a 5SD Tumnus because his wicked little smirk is perfect for another character of mine. On the whole, since I try to match dolls to existing characters, the face has to match a character in my head... but I do prefer "neutral" faces whose nuances can be brought out with face-ups and camera angles, rather than particularly exaggerated expressions such as obvious smiles or frowns.

Finally, my real weakness is androgynous dolls - small-chested girls and fine-featured boys. This ties into the elf-ear thing - most of the character's I'm shelling are elves, from a story where the main elven race have similar features between males and females including delicate facial features and lithe builds. A really muscular guy or a large-bust girl would have to really grab me for me to want to bring them home... I'm all about the ambiguity and ethereal bodies. XD

 

For some reason I love girl dolls that have a small waist and large hips. Mostly I think that's because I like drawing that figure and most of my characters are like that because of it, haha, so that's what made me want to have my first doll (: As for guys.. I'm not really sure. I must admit I do like looking at fangs, horns, and elf ears, but I don't have any male characters so I must admire from afar~

 

Thighs... clean thighs definately... Humen's thighs are hairy but dolls has no hair. I don't like Anime-character's thighs because they are so skinny. I enjoy putting shorts on my boys so that their thighs can show.

 

I don't own a bjd yet but i'm a big fan of big eyes and i put a lot of attention on doll hands, i don't know why but i do it

 

Beautifully-sculpted fantasy pieces! I still go weak in the knees over my Soom Amber and Beryl occasionally, because their fantasy parts are just so amazing to me. I can resist sloppily-done fantasy parts (and Soom have their share of these! I'm not just knocking other companies), but when the sculpting is done right, I just can't help wanting them

 

This is, basically, how I feel.
The only thing which is more pronounced is that I will end up buying eyes without pupils, or with very light pupils, for my dolls...
I think this makes them look a bit "unnatural", which I find very beautiful.

 

I love big eyes,full lips, long and thick beautiful eyelashes, and white skin. I only collect girl dolls mostly in SD size though I do have one in MSD size. As far as face ups go I like glamourous feminine faceups like the kind Cristy Stone and Gardenofdolls do. I love full lips that are red and shiny. It looks so amazing! I also love long white wigs. I also love the hands with the long fingernails.

As far as bodies go I love large breasts(the bigger the better!) tiny waists and curvy hips and bottoms. Basically a top heavy hourglass is what I love for BJD bodies.

 

My friend noticed that for the most part i prefer pouty looking dolls. Not all the time but a majority of the time.

 

Tan resin! The best way for a company to get their dolls on my wishlist is to make them in tan. Despite being very fair skinned, I've always like having mixed races of dolls. My very first BJD is tan, and I love her skintone! The doll I'm currently waiting for is a tan Puki Puki from Fairyland's recent tan event.

And elf ears. Lumedoll's Koit is on my wishlist twice due to an elf eared version and multiple skin tones, and my favorite MSDs all have not normal ears.

 

Big eyes and little mouths!

 

I am positive on the fetish issue. But I'm being obsessed with the doll as a whole and his (in my case, it's just boys, I'm afraid) personality rather than just certain parts though I pay a lot of attention to detail. For example, I have never cared much for fantasy dolls, but I have recently discovered a love for hooves.

 

Dolls with fantasy parts get me every time, be it wings, horns paws, etc. They tend to capture my imagination and I just love that.

 

NOSES! I like a distinctive nose. I also like realistic faces so 2 of my 3 SD dolls are actually MNM sculpts of celebrities; Gackt (solo artist) and Shou (Alice Nine).

 

Pouty Lips.

Every doll I find with really nice, full, pouty lips ends up on my wish list. Lips are the very first thing I notice on every doll. Lips are my ultimate fetish.
