Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. Well, this is embarrassing, lol, but actually I bought a doll to work with because he strongly reminds me of a guy, an actor, I have a huge crush on and who's work I like. I'm definitely not going all erotomania about it, but still I really like this guy's looks and I am definitely using him as a model for this doll. It's no worse than buying a celebrity Minimee head I guess, but I never really planned to have a doll that looks like a real person. In this case I am actually modeling the doll on him playing a particular historical character so it's not entirely him but I admit if I ever did meet the guy and he saw it? I'd have to blush and fess up to using him as the model because there would be no way to deny it... ;) He'd know right off that I have a huge crush on him and likely I'd just about sink into the floor with embarrassment.

    2. I have a "fetish" with realistic doll bodies. I'm buying a spiritdoll smart Snowdrop because of this. I would really love if I could get a more realistic face, but her face works perfectly with the character i'm thinking of. I hate the barbie-doll like unrealistic bodies I've seen out there for a lot of dolls. I love the spiritdoll bodies. I love detail, so I guess that would be my fetish.

    4. Very masculine looking sculpts draw my eye very quickly. Strong jawlines, some on females and definitely on males just are so appealing to me in a huge sea of anime esc dollies that I cant help but want them! I also really love thicker body types for girl dolls.

    8. I'm not sure if it's really a fetish but I like skinny dolls, with stylised proportions. Like DC kids, for example. Also, I agree, that hands are important. And joints. I like nice joints. If joints are not nice I can refuse buying a doll.

    9. Girly-boy dolls. Oh my gosh, I am in love with boy dolls who wear dresses and skirts and look cute and feminine while still being boys! Case in point: Army-of-me's Dollspirit Hoya is a boy who always wears cute little girl clothes! I just love androgyny :XD:
