Buying a Doll Because of Fetish

Hrm......I think so.

Actually wanting the doll came first, and the obsession was discovered after I figured out what BJD I wanted. O___O;;;;

It's all about cute looking boys with cat ears. O____O;;;;
All I have to say.

 

Vampires. Oh I love me some vampires. Doll with cute little fangs sticking out under their top lip. My next doll will be a vampire, or I will make him into one.

 

For boys, the thing that makes me melt are the eyes. I love me a good bedroom eye look. Half-lidded, smokey eyes . That and grumpy/pouty expressions.

For girls, the thing that gets me is a really round and cherubic looking face. I like it when they kinda look like stereotypical dollies. That and a wide-eyed, mildly confused expression. So cute!

I guess that my fetish would be faces with certain expressions, then?

 

I tend to like feminine male dolls over the manly looking ones, not sure if that's a fetish. lol

 

I love dolls that have a good nose on them!

Well... B&G's Old World, Coloara Mlezzlir certainly meets my fetish, and I am sorely tempted to buy him, but I'm not fond of big dolls. I did ask them if they'd be making any smaller Drow, and they said yes.

It's not unusual to use fetish in a more casual way if you're into anime/manga. I mean, I love a megane-kun but I don't find them THAT stimulating . And I'd still say I have a megane-fetchi (glasses fetish) or a koe-fetchi (voice fetish).

Hrm, smokey eyes are a big thing with me. The eyeshape is quite important to me, and if the eye makeup is smokey with downward-aimed eyelashes and the eyes themselves are beautiful urethane or HQ glass . . . perfection. I also love a nose with some character. Nice hands are a bonus but not a dealbreaker. I like skinny guys both in resin and IRL to the point where I feel kind of guilty about it .

 

I definitely have a dolly foot-fetish The nicest feet I've seen so far were on my old Angell Studio Gavin (who I sold, too big for me ) and they were really good man-feet, all veiny and a little bit curled in the toe Girl feet I'm less bothered about

I'm really attracted to unusual face-ups as well, or unusual dolls. If it's weird and a little unique then I'll love it! Though admittedly I rarely buy them because I like to be able to play with my dolls and I'm always too scared to take the cooler looking ones out

 

I'll admit when I saw the thread title, I immediately thought "Shouldn't this be on C**doll?" X"D

Anyway, my being poor only allows me to go after dolls that are of my favorite OCs, but what makes or breaks bodies for me is if they have muscles/meat. I don't want to constantly be wanting to feed my doll it looks so emaciated.
A good attention to anatomy is a must, as well. No glued-on grains of rice, please. I want effort!

As for full sets and the like, military-style esque uniforms will almost always get me wanting the doll, regardless of the sculpt.

 

I'm a sucker for mature girls with sultry, feminine faceups and details. I also really like the more realistic looking dolls. I don't think my choices are "fetish" per se, but I really do have a criteria of things that it seems all my girls have.

 

I don't think 'goth' is a fetish.

I like dolls that have curves. Both my DD and my Unoa are curvy little ladies.

 

I have a thing for big eyes, big lips, and... kitty ears. DON'T ASK ;3;

I have four fetishes, and three of them can be satisfied with dolls. Glasses, easy. Elf ears, oh yeah, usually the make-or-break. Long hair, oh, I can't help myself. (I like accents too, but I can't really do anything with that for the dolls... unless I put a voice box in one... o.o)

I also love Fairyland's Miyu because of her cute pouty lips.

 

Manly men with glasses? Count me in! =D

But otherwise, I don't buy dolls for fetishes. I don't even dress them that way. I just dress then in whatever looks good, hopefully.
