Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company.   2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.     3. His name is BuBu, and he's the same height as Alice and Billie! :D He's an orange pig, and looks to have a jointed waist, which is actually the only thing that I'm not to crazy about. Anyway, he's a limited edition of 50 and goes on sale on Charles' website on Friday. Here's the Discussion Thread for BuBu:

    4. I have Alice Cherry Blossom, Baby Julia, and Victoria, and they are all so lovely. The detail and feel of the resin and jointing is so amazing. I keep looking at the Bubu pics, but to me anyway they just cant compare to these lovelies. Sooooo wish Elfdoll would make more!

    8. I feel similarly, there was/is something special about Alice, that made her a must-have for me! I love little Julia too, and hope to get her one day. But until Charles created BuBu, no other anthros caught my fancy, and it even took a little while of gazing at the promo photos for him to grow on me. ;) It would be nice if there could be another release of Alice someday, but that seems doubtful as the Elfdoll/Charles Stephan Joint Project has ended. Then again, I don't think anyone could've predicted how popular these little piggies would be, so who knows what the future will bring. :) We can dream can't we?

    9. Oh no! So you caught the BuBu bug heh? There is this scripture in the bible that talks about 'the desires of the eyes" in other words the more we look at something the more we want it . I can tell you that has happened to me!

      I kept looking at alice and looking then I had to get her the second time she came around Now if I see something I like I wont keep looking at it I'll think " the desires of the eyes the desires of the eyes!!!" ahahahah my pocket book thanks me later.

The "eyes" are a real problem when it comes to these little Piggies.....Each time I tried to resist a new one...they would just " niggle""' at my mind...I kept looking at them.....and one by one....they all came home to me. Sad but true.....BUT HEY...at least I kept the whole family together....

    12. well...I have Elfdoll Edward and Victoria, Alice and Billy, Ian and Julia...and then I have Coco Tribe Patrick ( Kira Kira) and I have CCC Bubu on the way as I write....a whole lot of Piggies....and I am busy getting them the house that they are demanding..... HA!

I am not a PIGGY person either....I am not much of an anthro person.....when I first saw Alice, I wasn't interested....I missed the first edition completely from disinterest...but then....I just started looking at her....and then I couldn't stop looking....just way out of my usual behavior as far as dolly purchases...after I bought her...I said...that is that...I love her but I don't need anymore.....until I saw Billy....then came the babies.....and once again I resister....but caved after looking too often. When the parents were produced...I said "not interested".....but Edwards tusks were too irresistable.....and after he arrived, I decided that he must not be a single parent.....so Victoria arrived......DON'T ask me....but I just love them to pieces.....even though they are quite demanding as a family.....now they want a home.....hope they are saving up....

    15. Ditto... I have never thought to much about pigs myself in real life animal form or doll form. My older sister loves pigs and when she saw Alice she told me she was going to take her from me! Joking of course and added if I ever needed a babysitter for her I could count on her lol...

      My husband fell in love with Alice as well . I missed the first edition but kept looking at her pictures even after she was sold out . Then I was showing my husband her pictures and he kept saying" Aww she is so cute... Look at those little legs and feet!" so I knew he wouldnt mind if I got her.:aheartbea

    16. Point is...the pigs are darn cute....my bank account has suffered from Piggy cuteness, goodness knows....and I would have never suspected that would have gone in this direction....but as my husband says..." CUTE" get her every time!!
      These piggies also have a LOT of personality......Edward is very impressive..tusks and all....and Victoria ia a flirt....with a twinkle in her eye....
      OBVIOUSLY...I love the whole family....

    18. hah that is to funny.. My husband recently saw some other small dolls I was looking at and said
      " aww they look so cute" and it made me want to get them for him! But thankfully they were sold out!

My husband has no use for dolls....but he lets me get away with " murder" when it comes to buying dolls.....now of course, this is after we have finished raising and educating our nine children....as Johnny says "...at least I don't have to put braces on doll's teeth, or pay for them to go to college or get married".....we still have four unmarried children though so we are not " out of the financial woods" yet! Weddings...even son's rehearsal dinners are so nasty expensive.....
      ANYWAY....he tolerates my dolly vise ncely....I am so greatful....
