1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Bye Bye Alice Cherry Blossom! Discussion

Sep 6, 2008

    1. Yes...in a way you are right...raising our family was a full time job....honestly....I loved every moment of it....the BEST gift my husband ever "gave" me was a housekeeper....
the house is so empty now that they are all finished college, grad school....many married...we have seven grandchildren under six years of age...only two girls...but they both LOVE dolls already..WOOHOO!
Children gone...well...time to fill the house with dolls.....even little piggies....

    2. I am so wonder, why elfdoll do like this. I love their piggy (alice cherry blossom). This is bad news for me.:...(:...(:...(

    3. Well I think that makes them more special when they are done in limited quanities however
      http://www.charlescreaturecabinet.com/

has other dolls as well or you may find one on the secondary market.

    4. Here is Alice Cherry Blossom, Victoria, Baby Julia and the Quees in their house

    5. i love this house! :) and I love all the girls in pink! :D

    6. That is great! Did you put that together yourself?

    7. That is really a nice house.....my Piggy Family has been DEMANDING a house....and are even willing to share it with the Mouse Family if I will just GET TO IT!!!! I have been gathering some furnishings....but I am still unsure about the actual house structure.....playscale doll house....or Target storage cubicals hooked together....that is the question!!!!

    8. if you have the room - I'd go for the playscale dollhouse. They look incredible and it's so nice to have stairs, doors, windows, and different shaped rooms! :)

I wish I had the room for such a structure.

Do you think so? My only concern is that these Playscale houses are basically " sized" for Barbie height dolls and My Piggie Family ( Parents) and Bobo mouse Family ( Parents) are about 8"tall.....with of course...larger heads than Barbie....
You are right though....ANY house is gonna take up a lot of room....I have the room...but I guess I must remember nothing like this can just be " put away" when company comes!!

    10. AHHH< I love the little baby piggies. At first when I started getting into bjd I thought they were strange, now I'd love to have a little baby piggy to live with my lati whites in the lundby house.... maybe they'll make something new and fun and tiny too. :)

    11. Ihave seen other doll houses at target that are sized for Alice or maybe that was at Toys r us... one of those stores carry a large 2 story doll house and furnishings that are just the right size for alice..

maybe Alice and I will go on a mission and take a picture with her by it for scale reference !

    12. That's very true! Not easily hidden once you have them. I have the whole piggy family too and I pose them on my Ikea bookcase - I can adjust the shelf heights which is nice. But I dream of the day I have a place big enough to have a dollhouse for them. I could technically cut windows out of the bookcase, but I'm never sure where things are staying, so I haven't.

Is it an option to get one custom made? Know anyone with a saw? ;) Then you could maximise your ceiling height to room ratios.

Alice fits in a 1/12" setting, but the parents don't :( sadly. If you want something more moveable when company comes, I'd go with the shelfboxes - though I think they might be around playscale height too. They are usually 12" x 12" for scrapbookers, or are there other sizes? :aheartbea

    13. here are my new arrivals of piggies...
i introduce you marmelade (victoria cherry blossom) and dragibus (ian cherry blossom)

    18. Love the picrures of Victoria and children in doll house! Would LOVE to see any more pictures in different tyes of doll houses or book case creations that you talented collectors have made....

    19. My 5th edition Alice is on her way home! I'm too excited to have gotten her :D Now I'm trying to search out some clothes in her size...
I can't wait to see her- her pics are adorable, but I think dolls are always cuter in person!

    20. Oh wow which Alice is that? Did you get her from the secondary market?
