My Alice is home! She's even more adorable than everyone's photos, and she photographs well! I'm going to put up her box opening in a bit. I can hardly believe I got her! week ago when I warmed up to her photos I thought she would be unattainable. She is indeed lovely.

Congrats on getting Alice, patty-pan. It is indeed very hard to find them now that they are no longer being made and prices going up. I think i saw that post on marketplace, that's a great price. Last i saw that 5th edition on ebay she went for tons more. My mom held my Alice (Her name is now Lottie) for the first time and was like, "These little hooves feel like they could scratch my eyes out! I'm thinking she has a mischievous side " She continued to give her a little backstory, in which she gets into trouble when her parents are not looking and blames it on her sister (my future Ophelia Licorice). XD They were a little shocked at her small size, but agree that she is adorable.
That is so cute that you mom made up a backstory.. LOL at scratching her eyes out... those little hooves couldn't cut pudding! And your mom is right though she is a little trouble maker.

I wanted to share this with people that would understand, I have wanted a Victorian Alice Cherry Blossom so badly and I may have found one for sale. I am so excited just at the possibility, I hope the deal doesn't fall thru. I can't share this with my husband because he will just not understand. I am so excited to have some place to say this and have others completely understand. Yea!!!!!!!!!!!

My grandma loves my Alice Cherry Blossom! She dropped by last night and saw her next to my Pipos, and picked her up and kissed her forehead. XD She bought me an Ophelia Licorice for my birthday, and she said now that I have Alice, she's afraid I won't like the doll she got me as much. Plus, My Alice and Pipos Dali are getting so much time together and becoming good friends, my new doll won't be as welcome into the group. That's what she said to me, it was so cute She never showed so much interest until I got Lottie! She wants to find her some more outfits XD

Aichan, I am so thankful you all are here. I didn't even tell my husband I am getting it. I showed him a picture of Alice when I first discovered her and he said she had too big a head. >:0{ hmph!!!! I made her a baby this past weekend and will share pictures when my picture hosting site gets back up.
