Changing in front of your doll

Personally don't mind!

 

To be honest I’ve never really thought about it… In the past I did get self conscious with posters and pictures “looking” at me but I have most of my dolls in my room and it’s never bothered me with them.

 

Oh, second on the posters and pictures looking at me. I used to think anything with eyes in my room was looking at me, but that only really applied to printed pictures or magazines or the like, especially of real people. It never applied to plushies or dolls, which I did own/collect. At this point, I don't keep pictures and magazines in my room that are big enough that they set it off; just the occasional tiny picture on the sides of movies/comics/books of the hero that are easy to miss.

I tend to forget my dolls are in the room, actually. Especially since they have started moving into other rooms, lol.

 

my dolls are all in a closed closet, and I can change clothes as much as I want)), only my husband sees this and my dog, who is always watching me .... if I change clothes, then we go for a walk and she brings me a leash or some of her clothes so that I don’t leave her at home-)))

 

I store mine in their boxes most of the time, but I've seen them all naked so it's no big deal if they see me change!

 

Honestly when I got my first doll, a large 1/3 boy, I would apologize to him for changing in front of him or pull his hat down over his eyes. Eventually I just got used to him being there and stopped doing it, but I do still glance at my dolls I have now and hope they aren't judging me as I get dressed.

 

This made me laugh cause it's totally something that's crossed my mind LOL. But regardless, I don't care much. My dogs follow me everywhere and won't let me enter the bathroom alone, so I'm pretty used to it x'D

 

I never thought much about changing in front of a doll. I guess it's because at the end of the day I'm aware that they're inanimate objects so it wouldn't matter since they won't judge me for it, lol.

 

My first impulse was “well, they get changed in front of me all the time, so really what difference does it make?”

all my dolls are in my room, and there’s a ton of them. If I had to cover everyone’s eyes before I changed I’d be adding a lot of minutes to my morning routine, plus, as mentioned, they’re naked in front of me sometimes too. Plus, I don’t really see them as animate entities that could have feelings around my nudity—some of their characters might, but that’s its own thing.
