  2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum. It was mid August when I ordered mine....and I will wait...because I have seen her with the Sweetly Twisted face-up about 6 weeks ago in pictures that Miriam sent me...and she is adorable...all I have to hope is that she was not sent off to a doll store to fill a large order that Charles had not completed in order to keep them as customers....seems the stores have received their shipping notices while many "long ago" purchasers, such as myself, have not....oh well....I want her, so I will still wait.....and wait....and hope....( sigh )....

    3. RoseAnn I know waiting is always hard and because charles had personal problems it takes even longer....but perhaps you can try to mail him at the end of this month? He said there are 15 orders on there way, but not sure if the ones sweetly twisted did are with them.

    4. Its highly unlikely that one with a Sweetly Twisted faceup would be sent off to fill a store's order since those are with only default faceups.

      Besides, at least one store has already said they won't be doing anymore business anyway with CCC when I asked to order. :(

    5. Miriam said she handed the BJDs she had to Charles a day or two after she posted the pictures for us to see....that was about six weeks ago now.....
      I have written CCC and Charles four times in the last two weeks....twice since they said things were being sent and numbers given out....with no answers...and I didn't ask for money back or anything " upsetting"....I just said I was sorry for his problems....listed numbers and dates for my six orders....dating from August to October 2009....
      and Wilkies..."waiting" is not the thing that is hard..I can wait peacefully....it is the as the uncertainty of the this whole situation.....I have waited over a year for an artist* porcelain and wooden body doll in the past.....BTW...*an artist whose Mother died, and husband had open heart surgery in that year while she was filling my order and others......BUT the difference is when I was told it was coming....it did......when tracking numbers were sent....they were actually up on the tracking site in a day.....
      Some of the items I ordered from CCC are dolls...but some are elf shoes and boots and outfits....provided by individuals....who say the work was done.....?!
      BUT....I wait and hope....who knows.....perhaps it would be a bit mentally easier...if...a......I lived in the Netherlands....

    6. Lana...I hope you are right...as a matter of fact....any optimism I have DEPENDS on it...BUT....would a store owner....who has never gotten an order from CCC know the difference in a " default" face-up and a special one?....especially on a HIPPO?! Hmmmmm.....

    7. I don't think it helps the situation to speculate about mistaken shipments that have not been verified as such. Has someone confirmed that a doll with sweetly twisted faceup was sent to a shop or anyone in error?

      I do hope that everyone's orders gets filled soon and things are sorted out.

    10. I copied this from the CCC Incoming Doll thread:
      I just got my Kaba from DDE today in the mail! She is so cute and sweet.
      No faceup though even though I ordered one - no fault on DDE - but I will check DOA for a customizer for her.
      My only issue, I suppose, is that her resin seems so light and thin. I have a Jaime Doll Joan who is about the same size, a little bit bigger and here resin a bit more solid. It gives my Kaba a very delicate, light feel but I was a little surprised.

Well...in four weeks, It will have been a YEAR since I ordered Kaba from CCC....and I still have not been sent my Sweetly Twisted Face-up Kaba....who sits in a box in Charles's house...not sure why....but as it seems...I will never receive her....He promises to send her...but it never happens....!

I feel so sorry for you...I would love to sent you my kaba (she doesn't have the beautifull sweetly twisted face-up) but I am not realy playing with her ...I was thinking about selling her and also my momo..but I like to sent her to you for just the shipping cost to your country, because you have spent enough money already :) so If you like to have her she is yours....have to see how much shipping to florida is.
      I gave up hope to see my bailey rose ever again...but if I ever see or hear anything from charles here in the netherlands I sure am going to ask him.....

      That is about the sweetest, kindest thing I have ever read......I am humbled by your thoughtfulness....
      Charles needs to learn some lessons from the caring people he has cheated......people who believed in him and have tried for months and months to pray for him to recover from his depression and inability to be responsible.....

    16. With pleasure, RoseAnn! Here is my Kaba who recently went to winternight's spa along with my Fuuga Peri (who simply had her head reinforced because of some of the issues the Fuugas had with cracks starting in their heads). Hope (my Kaba) pretty much had the works. She sat in her box for a very long time - it was hard to even looks at her. Plus she arrived with a pretty significant flaw on one cheek and whoever did her face up (not wanting to name names that probably begin with a C) only saw the flaw after it was done and tried to wipe it off or something, so half her face up was gone. Finally, I got sick of being deprived of the pleasure of enjoying my Kaba because of this person's bad behavior! So off she went and it was the best thing I could have done! So here she is with Lily and Peri, finally getting to live her life!

    17. Perhaps we should ask donny (dreamhighstudio) he is the one that did the casting of all the ccc dolls..........so he will know how much kaba's there are.

      soon there will be a princess kaba at RoseAnn's place although it will be the sister of the one that is being held as hostage....but all the ransom that is paid for her still hasn't set her free....

    18. Um for any of you that have a Kaba do you have any 8" betsy mccalls or madame alexander dolls to know if any of their sleeveless dresses might fit? I've found a couple of barbie kelly sized knit dresses that are making cute midriff tops for her (no bottoms fit at all :|). I did find however that the little underware that is on the petite sized takara licca dolls DO fit her little bottom and make cute shorts :) Bottoms are tricky because of that cute belly of hers. Fantasia is demanding more clothes and since I don't know how to sew, knit, crochet or anything like that I have to buy them for her (I have to! It's some kind of law or something when you adopt a hippo ... or so I've been told ;)) Thanks for any help. Oh, has anyone found any kinds of shoes or slippers that fit?

    19. How about Sugar Mag's Blythe stuff? I know they fit on my Sleeping Elf BonBon and CoCo but, I confess, I haven't tried them on Kaba yet. Of course, they have to be short sleeves and most dresses will be gowns on her, so longish tops might work best. Thanks for the tip on the takara licca bottoms, Mu Shu! I'm not sure what kind of shoes would fit those odd feet of hers!
