Cherishdoll really is one of the faster companies

Hmm, interesting. I've had a tracking number since late last week, but it didn't actually start working until today. It also looks like she didn't ship until today, 4/19. I admit to being a little displeased that they didn't ship when they said they would/did.

 

How are they to deal with as a company? I contacted them about 3-4 days ago with a query on their Faith Line and I've not heard back from them.

Also has anyone got the Faith Andy?

 

They were pretty nice to deal with for me. There was a delay in answering my question because the right person had to be found, but it only took a few days. Lunar New Year and other things delayed my doll but I was sent a free wig as a present. And the delay wasn't that long, just a week to two more than expected.

Overall I was quite happy with them. But I love my little guy, so...

 

My mild annoyance aside, they do seem to be very nice to deal with.

Beau is here finally, yay! I must confess to being a bit bemused tho. I requested a blond or white wig, and blue or violet eyes. I was told this would be no problem. What I've received is a red wig and green eyes.

 

*sigh* At this point, I am very not happy with my new girl. Her face up is orange, not pink like all the pictures. The eyes are ugly and do not fit right in her head, I suspect they are too big. Plus, it seemed from the ordering page for her that she would also come with the fist hands, and she did not. So, yah, I don't think I've ever been this disappointed when ordering a new doll straight from the company.

 

Opal, that sucks, it's too bad she's disappointing... Maybe a new face-up as well as the right (kind of) eyes will help?

SweetMelodies, Eirawen is on the old body and I have some barbie-clothes lying around
Here's what I found out: Long pants are too long (which makes sense), also pants and skirts that don't stretch will not close completely. Dresses are too wide (the body lacks a barbielike bust ofcourse, so that makes sense), same goes for tight fitted tops and swimsuits. It may work out if you take them in just a little bit, I have a barbiedress with a non-stretch top that could work.
Simple vests may fit if the sleeves are wide or stretchy enough, but they will look slightly oversized. Things like swimsuits are long enough for their torso (though I think that was a Cindy swimsuit, not Barbie).

Maybe some clothes for smaller Obitsu dolls will fit better, though the sleeves would definatly be too small and the skirts/pants probably won't fit either. Hope this was helpfull!

 

Mittenbaum, I'm hoping that the right eyes will help a lot. But I can't stand the idea of having to pay more money to replace the face up that I already paid $40 for. :/

 

Well, still no response from CherishDoll. I have posted again, asking them to refund part, if not all of the $40 I paid for this clownish face up. She's growing on me, but at this point, I cannot recommend ordering from them, esp not a face up. So, unless I see someone in the marketplace, she's going to remain a lonely only.
