I was interested in the slim body but it just looked to mature for me with the chubby head. I think he's just so cute but I've never had a doll that small before
So, it's been quite some time since I posted or even looked in this thread... But I still have my Cherishdoll Sleeping Lani Eirawen and still love her to bits ^^ I am a bit bummed that Cherishdoll isn't an individual company anymore though, I miss some of their other sculpts that they're not selling anymore now. Anyway, since I'm posting here anywa, I figured I'd share a pic I took of Eirawen roughly two weeks ago summer clothes 02 by Mittebam, on Flickr
Last days of summer with Ephram by stuartsmycat, on Flickr[/IMG] This is my Ephram (c-faith Chubby sculpt). I was so frustrated with his odd measurements as first, but then I sent him to Darjeeling Aesthetics for a face, and now he has my heart. He is by far my favorite of all my dolls. I got the hang of sewing pants for him. But I'm still working on shirts. Anyway, he just wanted to say Hi and that 20cm may be small, but he's big on love!
Nice warm brown eyes and definitely 'boy' -- he looks great. The clothes can be a challenge, especially for boys, but there are a few custom options that I've found, spampy and on Etsy for example, that do have boy options. Congrats on his new look!
Thank you, icicle. I'll have to check out spampy. And just one more because I love him so. Monstah! by stuartsmycat, on Flickr[/IMG]
Darn, no one around to discuss these little charmers. I want another one so bad. I think Ephram needs a twin brother, but then I couldn't spoil him the way I do. Everyone else does too. Brody got him his first stuffed animal and now he won't let it go. 20150425_130341 by stuartsmycat, on Flickr[/IMG]
Well now they are on another site aren't they? I vaguely remember Cherish Doll going out of business. I haven't had time to work with my Beau much, but she's still an awesome little cutie.
I can't seem to find a Migidoll tinies thread. If anyone knows of a better thread for me and Ephram, please let me know.
Ah, it was Migidoll then? Yeah, this probably is still the best place, being that Cherish Doll sculpted them, they are just being sold by someone else. They just aren't very popular, so they don't get a lot of attention. Which is a shame really because they are pretty nice dolls.
Migidoll is a sister company to Cherish Doll. They share the same sculptor if I recalled. Few years back they merged into one company for unknown reasons. I do not know what is going on with the C-Line (Migidoll labels Cherish dolls as). I hope they didn't discontinued the dolls, it would be really sad if they did.
Hey does anyone own that slim body that can take pictures of it with other YO sized dolls (Soom or LTF or anything really)? I'm looking to maybe get one, but it's for a gift, so I really need to make sure it'll work along side other YOs.
Migidoll released a new updated body for Faiths SO much nicer then the older bodies. I wish I had the money to upgrade Miyu @VampireAngel13: Sorry I don't own the slim body. I can take a picture of the new body next to a Yo size doll to get a somewhat idea.
This is the only pic I have with that size, a Leeke D-type (2nd body, 28cm) and the Slim body: I can dig them out if you want unclothed.
I'm glad they're available again. I have three myself, one Chubby on a very old girl body (no torso joint), one Jodie "unicorn" on the newer boy body and one Sera vampire on the slim girl body. (The Jodie "unicorn" designation still baffles me - he has two horns. LOL!!) Here's Olivia, my Cherish Faith Sera Vampire. I recently took her out of her box, touched up her face-up and altered a fashion doll dress to fit her. I had originally intended to sell her, as I really don't like the slim body - it's kicky and hard to pose. Also, she is a bit bobble-headed, so she has major balance issues. However, after messing around with her for a while (including wiring her legs with pipecleaner) and finding her this new dress, I realised that I actually like her a lot better now... (I think the yellowing helped a bit, too. It made her look friendlier...)
Merry Christmas from my trio - who all got new clothes for Christmas. (The clothes are intended for Blythe, but they fit really well!)
