I don't have much pictures of my dollie...I think I am the one that bought from mitya but he is a cute boy, and poses fine, so I don't mind about his knee. I don't think the resin is bad....here is my boy
I'm so glad he found such a great home with you, Wilkies He looks so adorable in his little outfit and so happy! As far as his resin quality, I just didn't like the feel of it but that is just a personal preference. He is so sweet and a worthy little doll I'm glad he is loved!
gosh their faces are so darned cute -- it's such a pity they have all these issues : ( I was so excited when I found their website *sniffles*
I can only read 2 words on the page - Cherry Castle, so assumed it was their page, lol. Here's the link: http://www.ytcbdoll.com/
Hmm, anyone know if their resins match any other 1/6 bodies from other companies? Might be worth trying to procure a head and de-egging it....
I think they'd work with Bobobie bodies probably.. I know the Fairyland Multiheads work really well with both Bobobie tiny bodies and Cherry Castle bodies so I believe the Cherry Castle heads would work with Bobobie. The resin match seems to be right on. Bobobie white is paper white as is Cherry Castle.
My experience with CC's TaoBao agent was good. Mainly because I could read/type in Chinese I order & paid my doll on 1st Feb(Wed) via a TaoBao agent and they send her out the next day and she reach Singapore on the same night at 8pm. She was suppose to reach my door on Friday but the delivery company screwed up. >.< I have the same head cap gap problem but compared to my CH she is a lot better. When I open her box and saw her for the first time I thought they send me the wrong doll because she look very sharp and had a V jaw line totally unlike the photo. Took me sometime to realize she is the right doll. All their photo online was taken from an angle that make them look extra chubby and cute. Her nose is so sharp and define (totally unlike the photo) I'm so worried she will fall and break her nose. (>.<)
(I know this is a bit late, sorry!) Yep I've just recently received one, and he had aboslutely no problems.
Has anyone ordered anything from them recently? I'm considering one of their 1/6 - one of the dryad sisters - but like so many of you guys say, if these have so many flaws, then I'd rather spend a bit more and get a better quality doll. They really cute though, and I'm sold on the elf ears with that face - a combination I haven't really seen anywhere else. If the company still has problems, I might consider a Luts Honey Delf Choux, as they look quite similar, but I really want the elf ears and might consider a mod....
Hey I was wondering if you guys know any thing about this girl http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com/viewitem?index=0&sbk=1&nav=SEARCH&itemId=300927418485 she's a cherry castel girl but she seems to only be on ebay. She is so lovely but I'm questioning her existance.I asked the seller and they said she is new. Idk there's not much about her. And no body pics. I really want to get her for my first sd girl but I want to make sure I'm really gonna get her.
Yes, I've seen her too, she's gorgeous! And they have a 70cm boy there too which looks great, but I also do not see them on any other site. Does anyone have any information on them?
Sorry for necro-ing this thread, but is there any news with regards to Cherry Castle's quality recently? I'm interested in getting Strawberry, but I'm wary of ordering from a company with very little reviews and owner photos online. ^^;
I'd like to revive this thread. Is there anyone who has purchased from them (either eng site, taobao, or merchant) recently? Their 1/6 dolls are soo darned cute and they're a little easier on the wallet than other 1/6 kids. Are there any problems with your transactions? Are there any problems with the dolls? Is the resin quality good? How good is it at posing? Etc etc ... Other opinions.
Or does anyone has news about them. Can't really see some doll on sale on e-bay. Are they discontinued or closed?
I really want that Cherry Castle 1/3 Stiga head. But I don't know how to get just the head... and I want to have ideas about the resin they used.
