1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Clothes that fit Bahas? Baha Clothing Questions?

Jun 4, 2007

    1. I have a couple of modern Ginny dresses that fit both my Baha and my Cherish Doll.

    2. I have a ton of Bratz boys laying around the house because I used to collect them before my bjd hobby began. My Curo came in today so I thought I'd give it a try, not thinking they would work. Surprisingly, Bratz boy tops fit them perfectly! The pants are way too skinny for them, but the hoodies and any shirt that can completely unfasten (as in, doesn't have to be pulled over the head or over the hips) fits them like a dream.

Here is Miyamoto-san wearing a Bratz Boyz shirt with My Scene Ken shorts:

And also Riley Kish doll clothes fit them. I got a handmade kimono made to fit Riley Kish on Ebay. I had to cut a hole in the back for his tail (CUTE!), but it looks really nice on him. ( XD Crossdressing...)

    3. Lookin' good, Miyamoto-san! :) I have a couple of Bratz Boys' shirts, but my pink Baha doesn't seem the least bit interested in trying them on.

    4. Ok, I have several things to 'report'. First, the one Licca dress I have does not fit (much to the relief of my Joong Choo). Baha is not thin enough in the waist for it.
Both of my Ginny dresses fit, but then they're high waisted. The half slips I have fit as well.
Now, the exciting news..my Roseroar is stylin' in a darling little scottish outfit from an older 9" Effanbee Doll of the World (Rose says to call her BraveHart). She's wearing everything but the shoes and socks. Pink Baha does not come with human hands and feet, but the shoes and socks might fit the white Baha human feet. :)

    5. Has anyone tried Beanie Baby clothes? They might have tail holes (though maybe not in the right places). I also don't know what beanie babies typically measure.

    6. I have.. they just don't fit :( I've tried a sweater made for beanie bears as well as a brown jacket off an "attic treasure" jointed bear. Both are just too big overall and the sleeves are rather short.

    7. We lucked out on a clearance Do Re Mi doll that came with these outfits (shoes, socks, broom and wand included in the package!):

    8. You have a good eye, even the shoes fit!

    9. Thanks for all the ideas! I want to start sewing for my Baha and didn't know where to start!

    10. Oh wow, those are perfect! I'll have to check the ToysRUs to see if they have'em here. My pink girl needs better clothing

    11. I'm checking our TRU too; my Baha can't have too many clothes! trudy <><

    12. I was told that for SD13s, you can enlarge the layout section of a human-size pattern by 400-600% and have a useable doll-size pattern (no doll yet, alas, so I haven't experimented with this method). Has anyone tried doing this with a child's clothing pattern to make a Baha-sized pattern? I don't have a Baha, and am trying to figure out reasons to and not to order one :sweat

    13. Do ~not~ try and resist the charms of a Baha kitty...it is useless! Especially if you get to see one in person and hold it and, well, then it's all over ::

    14. Ehh, I kinda figured it was hopeless. Thought I'd give it the old college try, just to say I had. It's the edition with the little witch costume that's killing me right now. :love

    15. Ha!ha! At least you tried! Oooo, I love the little witchy outfit!

    16. Awh I didn't know that bratz boys fit. I have a pair of pj's that I bought a long time ago for one of my other dolls and it didn't fit, but now..... So many clothes must resist baha... I will not win LOL!

    17. I find that a few of Riley clothes fit, lots of seamstress dresses for Rileydo.. som e MY Scene and even some Bratz.. my Kitty is new, I will be posting photos as soon as I learn my way around here

    18. [IMG]

Here's a $2 Barbie outfit from Wal-Mart. It fits exactly, even the pants. Ezra is a boy, but even so...

    19. Daisy is mostly wearing Ginny clothes; they all fit great. I tried a couple of Riley things, but they were too tight; I guess it depends on how they're made. trudy <><
