I was wondering if anyone has experience in finding shoes for the 70cm dolls? What I'm looking for is a place that has lots of options for shoes, and not just the goth boots and dress shoes. I'd like to get a pair of trainers for my DZ yuu for when he comes in. Does anyone else have a yuu, and if so, what kind of shoes (what size) does he wear? Are there any places in the US that make shoes for dolls?

The search function works really well--it would be odd if those threads didn't turn up. Yes, there are a lot of places in the US that make--or at least sell--shoes for dolls, but most of them aren't focused specifically on the BJD market. (I'm thinking about sources like Audrey's Dolls, Antina's Doll Supply, etc.) But if you look through the Company Reviews and Feedback forum here on DoA, you'll find info on lots of US sellers of BJD things, including shoes. And shoes get resold quite often in the DoA Marketplace, too; once you've been a member long enough, you'll be able to see those threads.
I just got a pair of the 'luxury shoes' for Model Doll for my Yuu. He looks great in them, though they look a little on the large side, but they have to be because he has such wide freakin' feet
Moggies toy shop on Ebay has several pairs that he lists from dollzone for the 70cm boys. I think he sells them through his website too, not sure if they are the style you are looking for or not.
I bought some Souldoll suede/fur trim boots off eBay and they fit my Yuu, though they are a bit tight.
Resurrecting this thread! I know Dollmore Model clothing may be somewhat loose on DZ 70cm guys, but I was wondering if anyone knew how the Model skinny-jeans fit? http://dollmore.net/shop/step1.php?number=3478 Would they end up being too tight, do you think?

Hello everyone^^ I am playing with the thought to buy a Dollzone 70cm boy. But as the Dollzone shop not really has that much stuff, I wondered where I could buy fitting clothes, wigs and shoes. So my question is, has somebody any experience and can give me some links or infos where to shop? Or tell me which brands and sizes would also fit (like would LUTS SSDF or SOOM MA fit for example)? ^^ Thank you!
Sorry, I made a separated post for this, because I searched and went through lots of Dollzone threads, but seem like to have missed this one, but a moderator was so kind to copy it in here then.
Just a quick question- would the shoes (especially the boots) made for the 70 cm dollzone bodies fit the new 72cm bodies? shoe sizes and measurements are tricky... I'm assuming they will, but i'm worried about the hong and yue boots fitting on the new body.... I don't want to order anything and have it do that lovely half-zip. geh. ah, and if anybody has any of the 70+ cm boys, where DO you get your shoes? they seem pretty hard to find...
When i've ordered my Hong i've put in my order two pairs of boots as well,the brown and the black from the hong fullset,i try on my boy feet and i find difficoult to fits,but i'm a complete rookie about BJD....
i was thinking about gettig him the black boots, and eventually the reddish ones. do you have the 70 or the 72cm body? are they possible to put on though? i've heard that most JD boots are hard to put on. (though i'd have to have him wearing socks or stockings o some kind to prevent staining...)
well, at the bottem of the page where you find the body measurements you'll find how long the foot is, for a 72 cm its 8 cm. Most sites let you know what feet should fit, I think most 9 cm should fit ,cuz when you look at the inner size of those it will be something of 8.5 cm hers a great example http://www.aoddoll.net/ProDetail.asp?id=220 anyway, I don't have my hong yet so I'm all guessing and 'math' ing on it ,lol
huuumm, thank-you. this is more the sort of answer i was looking for- i was a little confused about shoe sizes and all, ad not all sites list that info.. maybe that's why i was confused. I've heard a lot of horror stories about the 70+ boys and shoes... geh. the inner size thing helps- at least i have an idea what to look for ^^; oooh, good luck with hong- he's so pretty! I consitered him, but the closed eyes were'nt what i was lookin' for. he's a gorgous boy though
