1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

    1. I second the 'watch the hips'. I have a pair of pants from Dollmore that I'm going to have to let out at the seam a little because Kestrel's (CP type 1)'s hips are just a bit wide for the pants -but it'll make the pants sexier so I'm not worried. But the Dollmore skirt does fit her nicely, as does the top. The Angell-Studio costumes fit her nicely, but I'm going to have to tailor the Buddy Doll outfit I got because its too small.

Wigs, I have a different head mold, but she's wearing Luts Delf and Leekworld L wigs happily.

I don't *think* there is much measurement difference between the old and new type bodies but don't have both to say. So far as my knowledge though the biggest difference is in the neck and the torso joint position.

    2. Delf and Senior Delf waists and hips are almost the same, so skirts and pants should fit. I haven't had a problem with that yet.

However, Senior Delf busts are a full inch bigger than the Delf bodies, so don't buy fitted Delf outfits and expect them to fit. The hands are also wider, so I actually could not get my SDF Camilla into a friend's jacket without taking her hands off.

I have two Delf outfits for my SDF Camilla -- the balloon set, which is nice and stretchy and fits her fine, and the starchis set, which has shorts that fit but make her look very leggy and a babydoll top that doesn't hang right from her bust and makes her look very pregnant. If I can bring myself to do it, I'll post a pic this weekend.

As for Senior Delf dresses fitting Delf girls, I'm not sure. If I get my girl some more clothes, I'll borrow a friend's Delf and try it out.

    3. Forgive me if this is posted in an inappropriate spot, but...
I am on the hunt for clothes for my Luts Delf right now. (She is a shiwoo dreaming). But, I don't want to be limited to buying clothes from the luts website! I have looked at many doll sights but I am uncertain as to what clothes will fit. Most doll sights do not give you size specifications for their clothes. To be more specific they may specify what in house doll the clothes fit, like on iplehouse, but they do not say "for 22 in. doll" etc.

I am scared to buy clothes because of this! Any list of links to stores with clothes that fit a Luts Delf for certain would be greatly greatly appreciated. :clover

    4. Bump!

Im still a newb and trying to figure this all out. I do as much research as I can on my own but some times I just need it spelled out in laments terms.

As far as I can tell the dollmore clothes do fit the mature luts female? But what sort of model type from dollmore do I need to watch out for? (SD is the one to choose? or is it MSD, Model F etc).

And also, what about iplehouse clothes?

And finally... How about wigs and shoes from these companies?

    5. I have an EL and a hippy Lishe *hugs my kids* And of them both, Lishe is so hard to buy for.

Locally I've been getting outfits for my boy from

      http://www.denofangels.com/forums/showthread.php?t=193100

Excellent quality. AND the bonus, most tops fit my LIshe as a skirt/dress. Pants also fit but of course a bit long. However I'm letting both my kids wear the outfits just fine.

I have not tried the Senior Delf clothing, but even the clothes that Luts sold FOR the Lishe were often too tight, not fitting around the neck or bodice.

If you must shop ebay I would say Try Mimi's shop. You can ask her questions at least regarding sizes.

    6. Weird... I buy from just about anywhere and anyone who sells clothes for "SD-sized"(SD-13), "60cm" or "1/3 dolls" and they seem to fit my Lishe fine... She's about the easiest doll to buy clothes for, I think! And as she's slightly smaller around the chest than Volks, she can fit clothes that are actually meant for SD dolls but still are too tight for some reason... I haven't found anything yet that hasn't fit!

As for Iplehouse, I'm pretty sure the 1/3 clothes should fit, although I haven't got any myself. I would buy from them if I liked something.

Wigs, shoes, everything. Anything for the large girl dolls should be fine. At least I haven't had any problems.

Yeah, hips can be large, but everything has fit so far!

    7. Okay! So… I just want to be clear here.

From doll more, any clothes titled SD are okay? I don’t see anything that says 1/3. I know that their Model dolls are huuuuge (28 in.) so I think clothes for that type would be too big for my girl, and MSD is only for the mini’s correct?

And from Iplehouse any clothes that are 1/3 are okay? (And as for shoes, they are labeled IHS LS and MSD which I have no idea what that means exactly).

Thanks to every one for having patience with me. And thank you freya1924 and april.

    8. What brands of underwear/bras fit?

I wanted to order some from Dollmore, but I believe I read somewhere (possibly earlier in this thread), that girl Delf's hips and chests are too large.

      Is there another company apart from Luts that will fit? ^^;

    9. Thats what I'm trying to find out too. As far as I understand it, any clothes that are for DS/DS13 or 1/3 girls are okay from any company.

I want to know about wigs from other companies too. I think dollmore wigs are too big for Delf.

    10. Iplehouse clothes fit Delf girls fine and KK workshop.

    11. Yup, MSD are too small - LS may be the ipplehouse SD size (not sure). But in general you are looking for "SD" or "SD13" sized clothing, or 1/3 size (they are all different labels for the same size class).

    12. I have a pair of jeans from Iplehouse that fit my delf girl perfectly. Before I bought them I tried to compare the measurements of Iplehouse girls with my delf to guess if they would fit her. Luckily they did ^_^;

    13. Delf girls are about as standard a size as you can get. They are a popular sculpt and a lot of people sew for them... They really should fit just about everything. I've seriously got bin-loads full of clothes and wigs and shoes from all kinds of places and have never had a problem with fitting!

I think people warn about the hips because, like on people, some designs may not look the best on the bigger hips, but I'd be REALLY surprised if it was a problem that caused clothes not to fit!

I've put Dollmore undies and stockings and clothing on my girl with no problem.

The Iplehouse site I'm looking at has the shoes divided into:
      SD/SD13 Boy
      SD/SD13 Girl
      MSD

      http://iplehouse.net/shop/step_submain.php?b_code=B20050910112553

Sometimes it's hard to figure out what the company calls SD-sized dolls! You have to check the measurements, if they list them! It's good to know the foot measurement of your doll anyway.

If you are unsure--definitely check measurements or ask the company or here! Someone will know! :D

    14. Ah, thank you. ^^

What brands of shoes fit best? (I'm looking at some perfect Bobobie shoes, but it seems like they might run a big big?)

    15. Thanks to akiko0021 and April for all the help!

    16. SHOES--
Even if you're going by one brand, sizes can vary! As with the clothes, I pretty much will buy any shoe that is made for a large-sized doll (SD/SD-13, 1/3, 60cm, etc., same designation as the clothes).

If you are particular about fit, then you'll have to go by measurements. Compare your Delf foot measurement to those posted on the various sites for the shoes. If there isn't a measurement posted, then you can ask the company (a pain, I know) or try asking about specific shoes on DoA (also a bother), although try to SEARCH threads first to see if it's been answered.

Delf girls feet do run smaller. This is good since they will fit into almost anything and it's better to be too small than too big. You can always stuff the shoe with a bit of paper or wear socks or something. My girls have been happy in ALL the shoes I've bought (and I have a LOT). Delfs really are a VERY easy doll to find clothes, shoes and wigs for...!

      Good luck!

(I've bought from Dollheart, Luts, Souldoll, Soom, Leeke, Volks, etc., and on ebay and the Marketplace.)

    17. Any idea if Dollheart's 'The Assistant,' will fit on a Delf Lishe? ._.; I want the outfit badly, but I read somewhere in the marketplace that the shirt can be a bit tight - (I can't remember on which doll mold, though!)

    18. I bought bra/underwear sets from Volks (SD/SD13 size), and they fit my Delf girls very well. So you might want to try Volks.

    19. i know this is a really old thread but I just ordered a LUTs Soo-Dark Elf and I'm curious as to what type and size of clothing would fit her without it being too baggy?

I usually order from Dollmore but If I wanted to order anything from someone here on DoA, would I have to buy SD or SD13 clothes?

      I appreciate any help :)
