1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Conarium Doll Discussion

    1. Clothed pic as requested, angle is not so great though as I'm not really used to handling a traditional camera

    2. She's gorgeous! What kind of shoes does she wear? I'm seriously considering getting her but I have having barefoot dolls

    3. Shoes are a struggle, her feet are shorter and wider than most standard children's shoes and unlike human feet they don't flex to fit in shoe openings, being rigid resin.

Mine currently does not have shoes, just stockings, but she also doesn't stand much, and I also haven't really devoted a lot of time to searching yet as I've been preoccupied with other dolls and with getting her painted.

    4. I wasn't really thinking about it at the time, so I only took one crappy cell-phone photo...

Meetup this past weekend had both my Eve and @Layn 's Trinity in the same room together. I wish I'd taken a better reference photo for people wanting to see, but I wasn't even thinking about it. I was surprised to see the Trinity was small enough to go on a stand, and a lot of people commented on how stylistically different the dolls were.

    5. It's admittedly a VERY heavy weight stand, that Dollmore makes specifically for Trinities. Probably any size doll can be put on a stand as long as someone's willing to make a stand that's sturdy enough to take it.

    6. There's no mini thread so I'm asking here, I'm getting a Qingwu head off the marketplace and I wanna know what matches their normal skin.

    7. Don't know if you're still after this info, but there are some comparisons in the mini thread here: https://denofangels.com/threads/conarium-discussion-thread-part-1.808599/
      pages 2 & 3

It seems Conarium normal skin is more similar to Tan in some other companies.

    8. I just wanted to update, since I haven't posted anything here in a while. I've had shoes for her for a little while.

My preferred ones are a pair of black SmartFit girls shoes, US size 1.5 )They're a little long, but you can't really tell, the width is perfect.
I also have a pair of kids boots, brand not marked, US size 1 (These are a little big all-around though)

      And, a couple doll photos,

    9. @Melissa I love how you've styled her!! I think the boots look great too, since they'll always be a bit bigger to accommodate extra layers of thick socks :whee:

    10. Thank you!

And yeah, I figured as much. I haven't tried a huge number of shoes on her just because it's not terribly convenient to do, but it definitely seems like US girls kids size 1 to 1.5 fit well.

I like being able to shop at thrift stores for her, but it's surprisingly difficult to find classy clothes for young kids in coordinating sets.
