1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Could your dolls be ever used, to save people lifes?

Oct 28, 2010

    1. I think the most likely way a bjd would save a life would be giving a dangerously depressed person something to focus their thoughts on/a goal to work towards. Or, maybe a severe drug addict can be helped out of their hole by bjds.

Personally, I know at the very least my dolls stave off my panic attacks. And those can feel like you're dying.

    2. Unstring the doll and make a tourniquet out of the elastic to stop the blood flow from a badly damaged hand or leg that is bleeding uncontrollably.

    3. That is a good one! Really good thinking there :)
I think you need the cunning of MacGyver to perform emergency medical procedures using a doll O_o

    4. Actually, the concept of dolls smuggling contraband predates the Civil War. There's a very famous play based during the American Revolution called "The Doll That Saved An Army", where a child's doll was used to smuggle secret letters to General George Washington. Now, I doubt the General collected BJDs, but still.

If you would like to read the play, you can find it here.

    5. Well, if cornered in a dark alley, you could use your hefty SD sized doll as a club...

    6. And Puki!
May not look it, but Pukis are DANGEROUS!

    7. Puki sling shot!!! They probably could take someone's eye out.
