And yes @Angelesk, they have haha! Thank you for the compliment, and thanks again for your help with ID'ing my El in the past! He's the same head as before, I just went in and color matched him. He threw off my video plans a bit, oops! Unfortunately, he got a scuff on his nose during the last stretch of his faceup... I'll have to find some way to fix without starting all over. His eyebrows were a little tricky, but they suit him so well, and I'm glad you think so too!!! Now I'm on a search for Alois's partner, Mitra, who I'm hoping to find another Delf for haha!

 

I came here to share my excitement on picking up an old yellowed El head and realized that I never shared the Shiwoo I nabbed nearly.... 2 years ago at this point... Time has been weird these last few day-years.

Anyway, here he is! His Faceup by me, the Wig is the one he was sent with - it suited him perfectly- and eyes are from Captured in Glass.

Thank you @Hyzenthlay, @IngieBee and @Angelesk, I miss playing with my Delf Crew. The weather's getting cold and wet here on the East Coast, so its almost time for Fall clothes for everyone. What a nice excuse reason to play with everyone and take pics! I think I'm going to hope for a couple of nice, dry days so I can take updated pics of everyone, including my non-Delf Crew.

Update: I Got Him! A white skinned Delf El! I jut put him on layaway!

Delf El was the very first BJD I saw, way back in (I wanna say) 2006. I didn't join DOA until 2007, but I never forgot that El. I hope he's being loved and spoiled even today.

After so many years of pining over my partner's El, I'm finally getting one of my very own!

I'm jealous that your weather is turning Fall-ish! Here in Texas our "cool" days have still been 90 degrees!
Congrats on your El!! I'm so excited to see him once he arrives!
You and I started around the same time! Had I ever known that they'd be so difficult to obtain; I would have bought all of the sculpts!

 

Oh wow, 90F still? We have all four seasons here on the East Coast, sometimes on the same day!

I think I'm slowly getting all the Delf sculpts that I've always wanted, which is fine with me! This new boy will be my eleventh Delf. Wow.

It may be because you need to check new posts every now and then. I noticed that if I don't come on for a bit, I get dropped. At least it seems like that's what happens, but I could be wrong. ?

The new boy's not the actual doll, just the sculpt is the same. I really don't care that he's not the same exact doll, he's the same sculpt, and that's good enough for me! Oh man, I so can't wait for him to come home! Another Delf to spoil!

Sadly yes, Texas weather is basically boiling until February; and then it's just cold. Not usually freezing; just cold.
That's awesome! I'm trying to do the same too and collect all of the Delfs that I don't have!
Do you happen to have pictures of all of yours? I'm dying to see your collection!

@kaboomkim ~ We must be around the same age! I was in high school too when the older Delf sculpts were being released. I couldn't afford them either!! I hope that you can get a Soony one day, thankfully she's still popular!

 

Now, I'm wondering what you consider "cold"? To me, cold is 50F, but then again, I love summer weather. Well, except for the 80+ humidity that sometime happens, especially before a thunderstorm. I don't think I'd like Texas weather either, too hot and too dry. I have a brother that lives in Austin, maybe one day I'll go visit for a bit and really make up my mind.

Oh yes, I have pics of My Crew! They're still dressed in summer clothes, but I'm going to be changing the ones that have cosplay outfits into them in a few days for Samhain/Halloween.

Oh no, we're not the same age by far. I'm probably closer to your Dad's age than yours! Back in 2007, I was too busy with my career as a Paramedic to think about BJDs. It was a friend of mine that showed me hers while at a anime convention that reminded me that I wanted to look further into BJDs. So I joined DOA, and the rest, as they say, is history.

Your Crew is wonderful! I love your DES Merman, he's awesome. Of course, I have a Shiwoo addiction collection too, and I want to buy them all. So I'm LOVING all of yours, and that Shine is great to see too!

That's so strange! For some reason I had thought we were possibly close in age; however my parents are significantly older than most of my peers parents would be as I was a 13 year after thought from my siblings.

My family is from the Chicago area and moved here to Texas before I was born, as such I was dressed the way that they lived and don't find 70F to be "cold". But majority of Texans at that point would be wearing fall clothes and jackets, and I typically will be in shorts and a shirt. But we do have the same issue as Austin does, the humidity is killer. You will be sweating the moment you walk out the door and getting into hot and sticky cars.

Anyway! Definitely share more of your crew when you have the time! They're all so cute!

Thanks, all! Its finally getting cooler here in the land of Breaking Bad, too! This summer was.... bleh. I'm so very done with heat for now.

My aforementioned El head arrived and woooooooooooow he is YELLOW!
He was supposedly white skin at some point, but this pic is seriously what color he is irl!



Haha, I don't actually mind however, as I was planning to blush him to match a normal skin body I already had anyway.
I can finally mark El off my list of old Delfs to collect! Now to carve out some time to paint him.....

 

HE'S SO CUTE!! But yes, he is VERY yellow!
It took me a long time to realize what color a couple of my boys were because of the same issue. I can't wait to see what you do with him!

 

Congrats to both @Adalaire and @Ryuichi Sakuma 13 on your new boys!And that is one yellowed boy! I think my Moon was the same color.

It was a little bit ago in the thread that I mentioned still looking for a Delf Elf El, but I never mentioned how I wanted an open eyed Moon too! I managed to get one on IG last night!!
