  2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.     1. I'm glad things are okay for you, @SacredMonsoon, I've had basement leaks, and having to throw things out I wanted to keep was no fun.

      That is so funny, @IngieBee! I think I would melt in either place, even though I love hot weather. Do you keep the a/c on for your dolls because of the heat? I think I would. I keep mine on in the summer for them, and of course for our three cats.

      I've been so busy playing with the newest member of My Crew (and watching horror movies/shows) that I've not had the time until now to create his boxopening thread.
      Here's Ethan! Yet another grail Delf that made it home! :sumomo:

    4. Thank you, @IngieBee! His eye color is not one that I would have chosen (I didn't know it existed, tbh), but it works for him, so he keeps them. I think they're a really cool color, my partner said they're "kind of taupe."

      His old wig, OTOH, I'm selling. I'm just waiting for the new one to ship so I can give back the borrowed one to my partner. I'm going for one that more closely matches his eyebrows.

      Thank you, @Angelesk, its always amazing to bring home a grail, especially when I wasn't looking for one to begin with. I found Ethan, and he just said "I'm yours, bring me home!" So I did. :XD: I think he's absolutely adorable too, and he's my first freckled doll. I love that he even has them on his ears. :love

      Welp, he's getting new stringing and hot glue sueded this weekend.:3nodding: The poor boy is so loose I can't get him to stand properly.

    7. I hope everyone is doing well ~ I took a few more pics of my Vamp Shiwoo, Hari, out on the patio. Recently I've been taking a lot of pics around the house and the patio [since I started a doll insta], however I'm quickly running out of backdrops. But I'm also really hesitant to take my resin dolls anywhere outside the home, since I've become so anxious about their well-being. I used to take my dolls everywhere for meets or events or just random doll shoots way back when, but the older I get, the more anxious I've gotten about it x_x am I crazy??

    8. @Insane-Chan Well, I just try to limit their time in the sun. Sunshine is the most damaging thing. I put my dolls in a case and try to take pictures in the shade and only having them outside as long as necessary for the picture of them right back into the bag (case)

      As for taking dolls outside, I don't think its crazy to be paranoid about it! I used to do it with my [off topic] dolls that aren't as sensitive to sunlight. Now I'm much more paranoid with BJDs, especially larger ones. I have so many ideas for photoshoots outside but I never go through with it. Which sucks because I love natural light for photos! :doh

    13. I finally got my El boy put back on his body after sending him for a faceup refresh from the friend I bought him from! I absolutely love him so much, he's so great looking! I can't wait to send her my VE Chiwoo sometime to! Plus bonus shot of the Dreaming El I got recently who was modded to have vampire fangs and Elf ears, and the whole Delf Shelf crew!
